I fast travelled to a location and came out the other side with a random wolf standing next to me doing his growly thing. So I smashed 'im on the head with mah mace. I only realised after he was dead that he had a name and everything. So I was like "Oh, oops," and fired up the console to resurrect poor Kepler. Except then he was really, really annoyed with me. Fermi was cool with the whole thing, but Kepler just kept on trying to eat my face. I had to reload in the end. Moral of this story -- no squashing the heads of random wolves until you're sure they are indeed just random wolves. God I hope SkyTEST didn't do this with a frostbite spider or something. I AM NOT checking them for names...
