I've come across 3 Mirelurks stuck trying to kill a Deathclaw (I'm using Mart's Mutant Mod if you're wondering how this encounter happened) close to the Tepid Sewers. I quick saved near the Anchorage Memorial, found them by coincidence and decided to kill the Mirelurks first when I noticed I wasn't doing any damage at all to the swimming buggers, I used V.A.T.S. and just then did the bullets penetrated that barrier. Has anyone ever had this problem or is it just this location? Fallout 3 - 1.7.0.3

I've been trying to pickpocket keys from several NPC's but they're hidden and the only way to get them is to kill their owners. Is there any possibility to make them pickpocket-able?
