  1. if you have steam (im not sure how on another platform) step1: select steam app -> library (locate skyrim) step 2: right click elder scrolls V-> select properties step 3: select the " installed files " tab step 4: select "verify integrity of game files" [Let this do its thing] step 5: select default game loader select optimization setup step 6: close and run per vortex/custom launcher/ SKSE and prompt that locks to creation club will be gone understandable , best of luck
  2. 1st: what app are you using to push them into the game or is this manual application? 2nd: something i know for vortex after AE/creation mods install , typically for me it will keep mods active but disable some of the plugins i had around 6 not active while the mods were loaded so game flagged as missing 3rd: on a quick speed look i notice a lot of unhandled OBJ/threads are flagged (you could try fallrim tools to clean unattached ones if they are the culprit ) 4rth: typically CTDS from just mods testing experience revolve around a few things usually HDT/physics not being loaded or animations connected not being loaded (say fnis or nemesis not being run or didnt catch them for whatever reason) attached instance of animation or OBJ to a linked action or event is causing it confliction of scrips plugin or dll
  3. Id suggest to make a bookmark of the thread in a browser ,if you feel it will be usefull or jot down on notepad the issue and fix i will note, i did launch default skyrim fully, then SKSE skyrim launcher after via vortex to make sure the default settings were run to set quality level. (not sure, but that might be an important step...) only just gotten back into the game ( cancer ....) as this update occurred, typically i do mod ports or mod testing /troubleshooting ae creation stuff seemed stable initially ill say, but with the new updated/paid mods they are promoting seems they try to lock /punish people using non creation mods with this prompt, so handy to know a reset trick if one runs into it
  4. since nobody seems to know a way to resolve this ive found one for steam anyway if steam require files via file integrity ->repalces 1 file this will reset core launcher to default eliminating the creation club locked prompt
  5. i recently updated and im now getting this "fun" new prompt whenever i remove a mod "would you like to search creation club for this mod" yes/no yes brings creation club, no dosnt load or do anything is there a disabler or mod up, i spent most of the morning trying to discern what i need to do to nuke this annoyance but im asking now as im just getting frustrated i do have the AE edition and the ae mods that came with it, but i dont use creation for anything directly I do note it had me do a login before i played which i hadnt need prior and now this keep occurring, so im unsure of a work around
  6. i to would like to know
  7. interesting , so basically we have to edit and replace the old ? NiSkinPartition block
  8. im honestly surprised more mods arnt being done by caretaker i have dozens of such that authors no longer maintain that id gladly provide if i could do so
  9. i used to have this on oldrim but only place i can find it for SE is xbox weirdly enough would someone be able to do a port http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33097/? mod author states its open to any to do so as long as they are credited
  10. its disappointing to see the small amount of se mods available, so i decided to attempt testing of oldrim follower mods im not stating i made any mods or ported or ..well anything as such , so i do not take credit for making them work but if i found them to be usefull , so could others ? [ using se NMM , skyrim se] i found that some mods worked via manual download to a file , and then install by adding via NMM as such probably a few of you have had similar success i bet i was just using them for personal use and enjoying them, but as i am having fun with them, possibly others could as well. if not, is it ok to post which mods work as is ? via manual download ? also how do i go about messaging the creators to make them aware the mods can port over "as is" or would i need permission and then port them over myself? appreciate the help!
  11. Hello i go by duz or duzell i initially had a skyrim se on console and now on pc to see the difference, thus my presence here now it truly is ...a different beast in many regards i fiddle around in 3d models as i have zbrush and 3dcoat and sculptris ect so possibly ill make some mods of my own, but for now i just enjoy others work
