  1. This seems to be EXACTLY what I (and I assume the others in this thread too) am looking for. Except for one teeny-weeny problem: IT DOESN'T WORK! I have no idea what I did wrong, but it won't work  EDIT: OH my mistake! IT DOES WORK! I thought it would just work like most mods where you just download and install it using NMM and it works. But this mod is a little different - you have to download it manually, then extract it somewhere, then open the "The Elder Scroll V Skyrim Control Switcher.exe" file you extracted and run Skyrim alongside that. THAN it works. But I should probably mention that since than I have given up on using a controller and instead ended up just using good ol' mouse and keyboard. This might make me come back to using a controller, but also might not. Frankly, I am having no problems with using my awesome mouse and keyboard.
  2. Don't you know Blizzard is a company that likes to take their time when developing games. Just look at Diablo - there is a 10 year gap between Diablo 2 and 3. I'm sure Warcraft 4 will come someday, I bet it will come out in the next couple of years. Blizzard would be stupid not to release a sequel to such a successful game. The same is with TES. I doubt that the single-player series will stop because of an MMO. TES series is likely the most successful single-player RPG series of all time, but I doubt the MMO would be all that popular. The point is, single-player TES games are successful for a reason, and Bethesda wouldn't want to stop developing successful games that make their fans happy and make them money. The MMO obviously isn't even supposed to replace the single-player TES series, as evidenced by the fact that it even isn't developed by Bethesda Studio themselves.
  3. Well if it wasn't like that I'd probably go with the Stormcloaks and purposefully fail in the Battle of Whiterun. It's kinda funny that you mention that because just today I was playing the quest that gets you into the Thieves Guild in Riften ("A Chance Arrangement") and I failed that quest on purpose because if you succeed an innocent person (Brand-Shei) goes to jail (but you can still get into the Thieves Guild even if you fail). But I guess the Bethesda developers didn't think of doing that or didn't bother to do it in the Civil War quests.
  4. So I guess the Imperials are idiots for not trying to take Whiterun. Anyway, thanks for the explanation, it makes sense.. But I'm still not sure which side I should choose, but I guess Skyrim has so many other things to do that I can continue putting off choosing a side forever. Anyway, if anyone else has an explanation I'd like to hear it to.
  5. Hi everyone, So like many people, I am trying to pick a side in the Civil War questline. I was almost going to go with the Stormcloaks, but then I found out that during the Stormcloaks questline there is a quest called "Battle for Whiterun" where the Stormcloaks attack Whiterun in order to conquer it. What I don't get is the reason for that attack. I really like Jarl Balgruuf, and he told me personally that he doesn't want to take a side in the Civil War. So I'm asking, what is the reason for the Stormcloaks's attack on Whiterun? How does conquering that city help them? In what way is Jarl Balgruuf's neutral stance in the conflict a problem for the Stormcloaks?
  6. There's a new cool mod house called Build Your Own Home, which, well the name and the link explain it pretty well.
  7. That mod is now available in the Skyrim Nexus too. Link: Dragonkiller Cart by Xgf.
  8. Yeah you're right. I just checked a mod that never won, and it had the option to vote.
  9. But I can't find the "Vote To Me" button. Left to the "Endorse Me" button is the "Downloads" button, but there is no button to the right of it.
  10. Hi Everybody, I have a small question - how do you vote for a mod to be the File of the Month? And can a mod win File of the Month twice (in two different months)?
  11. I just found a mod that allows you to adds a drivable horse cart to the game like you asked for, it's called Dragonkiller Cart, but it's only available on the Steam Workshop. Link: Dragonkiller Cart by xgrufijury.
  12. But is it stable enough? Or buggy as hell (or Oblivion in TES terms)? Also, I wonder if anyone will ever make Morroskyrim, or Oblivirim. That would be awesome.
  13. For anyone who is still having this problem: update to the new version, version 22. It's supposed to fix the Friendly Dragon problem (along with adding other new features). Link: Levelers Tower v22 by WillieSea. Here is the official message WillieSea (the creator of this mod) made to address this problem:
  14. Have you two tried to instal the 2.11 patch? Or switching to the ESM version?
  15. I'll ask again; I really want this controlmap.txt file so can you please post it?
