Hallo people, i have always though that the level scaling in skyrim was a bit dumb, since if you level any skill you shoot yourself in the foot. the level scaling is still a good thing, it makes so that all dungeons can be challenging and filled with worthwhile loot, tho if you train a skill that has absolutely nothing to do with combat your screwed since the game will be much harder. so here is where the idea comes in, what if your level only goes when you level combat skills + enchanting/smithing(those give you a edge in combat). so things like sneak, speech, alchemy etc. did not level you up.
