  1. I think the OP is talking about Skyrim Special Edition, not to mention, there are a lot of original skyrim mods that work on SSE without any issue. Anyway, @lupinmodz, the answer is yes, you can manually download mods and then put them into the mod manager. I'm going to assume that you are using the Nexus Mod Manager. The way I install them is: 1. Download the files manually from the Nexus site. 2. Go to your "Downloads" folder under your pc directory. You should see the mod that you have downloaded. 3. You can now either copy/paste the mod, or simply drag it into your "Mods" folder. Try and remember where you installed your mod manager. Mine is installed in (D:)>Games>Nexus Mod Manager>SkyrimSE>Mods 4. It should now be in your mod manager, if you had NMM open, close it and open it again. 5. Activate your mod It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it and much more reliable than downloading straight to NMM. ***Also, just as a warning since you are new to modding, try to make sure you download mods from the "Skyrim Special Edition" Nexus page and not the original "Skyrim" page. Anyway, good luck!
  2. No problem mate, all it was that I needed to do was update the nifs in the mods meshes using nifscope. Heres a link with a lot of handy info, including some info on how to do just that: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/sse#wiki_how_will_mods_work_for_sse_on_pc Just scroll down to the sub title that reads "How will mods work for SSE on PC". Instructions should be under that. Hope it's a easy fix for you too mate. Good luck.

  4. Hi all, I'm having an issue with an old armor mod from the original game. Basically everything from the mod works on the new skyrim, except for the helm. As soon as I equip the helm, my character goes bald and is engulfed by a red diamond with an exclamation mark in the middle. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix this? I've tried un-installing and the like, I should also mention that I unpacked the BSA and I am using the loose files. The mod in question is "Skyrim Knights" by hideouscircus if anyone wants to know which mod it is. I'm not looking to upload it and take credit or anything, it's just one of my favourite mods that I'd like to use again. Thanks. **Edit** This issue has now been solved. 5. Yeah no kidding, I did make it aware that the mod was from the original game in my very first sentence. And I'm fully aware that there is an error or incompatibility when using it on the new game, after all that is THE REASON I'm here, to ASK FOR HELP so that I can DIAGNOSE and FIX the PROBLEM. Not so that someone can come in and state the bloody obvious. Also, a lot of mods are able to be used directly from the old game, I for example am using pretty much all of aMidians textures for armors without any issues at all.
