  1. you may stick with this topic. seems it is F4SE related too.
  2. yup. i was also looking up for something like sim settlements vault edition. you would get some prfab rooms which you can snap to doorways - a smaller and a bigger room. because i got now my huge vault built and empty rooms standing around and am lacking of ideas how the furnish them ;) possiblity 1: only the door and floor would be visible and the rest woul random gnerate, for expample the rype of quarter room (1, 2, 3, 4). and then the room would start to furnish. problem here would be placing windows. you would have to work with static positioning of door and windows the same way for every "plot". alternativaly you would build the room yourself. but could place a invisable (or visiable) carpet in that specific vault room and it would tart to furnish. but hre i se the conflict that the mod would have to recognize where the door and windows are to not place objects covering entrace and windows view. this would be hard work to fullfill wiith scrippting and stuff.
  3. only for the plugins.txt. DLCList.txt has none. in the DLCList.txt it is simple as this dlc1.esm dlc2.esm mod1.esp mod2esp I need that bit more specfic though. you started up fallout 4 and didn't load and startet a NEW game from scratch (and not load a previous save and saved a new file)? i mean clean playthrough thus in your words another character. the question is are the mods back with a new char? also before loading or starting new. when in fallout 4 main menu. you should have the mods menü - are ther the mods listed? like this: http://www.maverik.ch/stuff/modslist_atloadingscreen.jpg if not i think you have somehow to fallout 4 folders on your harddrive. there must be a file or setting pointing to a wrong path or something. at thoes points i mostly use simething like "REVO Uninstaller" and make a clean uninstall. That tool looks up loose files and registry keys left over from the normal uninstaller and removes them too.
  4. at what point are you in your playthrough? i have finsihded the hole game. and got no radiant quests too. only settlement attacks. next to that i read that the last patch for fallout 4 has drastically reduced the possibllity of miniutemen quests. preston doesn't give me any since long time. only chance i had to get some is by listening to readio freedom - for a long period of time though. also i found out tht mods like "we are the minutemen" reduces the chance of getting them as well. an the onyl fix i found so far is to edit fallout4.exe over fo4edit as presented here: so if you use that specific mod, you might conider that video. but don't know if you wish to fiddle around the files wiht fo4edit.
  5. resetting the resolution values over the fallout 4 lauincher > options doesn't help? do you got a nvidia graficcard with nvidia experience installed? i found out that optimizing the resolution over nvidia experience can break it.
  6. well you may find that out by starting a new game. if the mods still don't load, its not your save file. has nmm successfully detected your fallout 4 installation? and verify in NMM plugin tab if the esm and esp files are all activated (check box ticked). then there is always your windows profile appdata not being touched while reinstalling software. go to: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Fallout4\ you should find 4 files, two of are text files: DLCList.txt plugins.txt check if the two files have your mods listed. and some thrads mention that you need to initially load fallout 4 over the mod manager instead of launching it over steam launcher or follout4.exe directly.
  7. Hi there I'm curious how tags and attributes make it to the nexus mods search filters. and i'm not sure if tags and the attributes provided wthin the search options are the same thing despite diffrent naming. as for the tags e found topics stating that they are brought to the page by the mod aiuthors themselves. but attributes? seem no to find anything. only add suggetions without replies or coplaints about the content blocker. i'm asking because attributes for fallout 4 mods like "sim settlements" would be a huge help. though you could filter them from normal "settlements" mods.
  8. hey, if you are still figuring it out. i actually was searching for "better settlers" translation mod and there are actually two for german. but only one always came up. DrakeTheDragon actually pointed me to the solution. i went to the content blocking section and reset what should be blocked. and after saving, both mods appear now on search.
  9. i assume you got a pc version over steam? you should be able to get to "Options" when launching Fallout 4 over Steam. Is there "Window Mode" ticked? or imaybe reseting the settings there would help. and if you got NVIDIA Geforce Experience installed and let it optimize Fallout 4, i had cases where it launched in a windowed mode. maybe check the settings there.
  10. perfect spot for a "turn the screen on" troll ;) well this gets bit difficult. AFAIK fallout 4 makes auto save while fast traveling. but if you only exited a cell, not. did you afterwards kill your fallcout4.exe prozess or shut down your computer? then the progress is gone. what happens when you restart the game? what does your linked screenshot showcase? i see screen content. as for the issue because it happened: it could be due to outdated grafic card driver or the vram couldn't handle it anymore.
  11. yup. all other "nexus mod manager can't find ini" topics lead to that custom ini file missing even youtube vids. well i got personally steam / fallout 4 on c:\games then nmm 0.63.14 on c:\games too. the ini files should be in C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ the only other solution i found was rolling back to a previous version of NMM. i found older versions posted here Edit: did you already came across this topic? especially this two posts: and this
  12. are you assigning named or unique settlers? - because that is, as i read in other forums, not possible. and i found this:
  13. I recentyl noticed that next to my red rocket settlement at nuka world the the random encounters don't occur anymore. the cell resets. when i loot the containers they're replenished after some days. but factions are not spawming and fighting anymore. i can only think of three possiblities but i'm not sure about: a) since you build objects on that cell random encounters will stop working b) when the settlement reaches a certain growth npcs' don't spawn at that location/neighboured locations - like in darkwater constraction site - where at a certain settlement growth point the mirelurk queen stopped respawning. c) UFO4P Update from 2.0 to latest Version, broke that specific random encounter hotspot - but i doubt that one. can someone with insight about fo4 mechanics tell me if i'm on the right path?
