  1. In response to post #67661681. Doesn´t Vortex support profiles outside of Bethesda titles?
  2. Do you have DS compatible meshes?
  3. Is it maybe this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43123 ? I only glanced over its description, but does seem to fit the bill.
  4. Imgur, Imgur never changes. Seriously though, some of these comments
  5. If it is a simple esp, the answer is actually yes. It only needs resaving in CK. If the Mod comes with a .bsa, you need to additionally repack the .bsa so it conforms to SE standards ( obviously after you converted meshes for SE use ). Meshes need to be converted to SE. Textures need no additional treatment and work out of the box. They seem to be darker than on Oldrim though.
  6. Classes. Attributes. Fixed Birthsigns. Real advantages and disadvantages to choosing one race over the other. Less but more meaningful perks. Make speechcraft actually useful in that it provides alternate ways to solve a quest. Also not just "kill stuffz", "kill moar stuffz", "kill even moar stuffz", "oh and fetch me that staff while you are at it" quests.

  8. FOSE is supposed to load the fallout3.exe.
  9. Here ya go: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18497
  10. @h0neyzuckle: Have you tried installing Skyrim SE outside of the Program Files (x86) folder? Windows tends to be very protective of that folder ( and its non (x86) counterpart ) and might just prevent skse from working at all irregardless of being run as admin.
  11. What resolution are you playing in and what settings are you using? Are you running a lot of texmods and if yes, what resolution do they use? Are you running a lot of mods with scripts?
  12. to 1: That only converted the esp to the new formversion, not the nifs themselves. Get https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089 and follow the instructions in optimizing your nifs. to 3: We need the loadorder. to 4: A merged patch is created with xEdit and merges esps into only one esp. Handy for when you want more mods than the engine can handle. A bashed patch is created with WryeBash and usually merges leveledlists only. Handy if you have mods that alter leveledlists.
  13. It ultimately depends on the mod. For a relatively simple mod like Acquisitive Soul Gems or Take Notes, a book menu/stone works fine. But a mod like Better Vampires or Skyrim Immersive Creatures is a relative/total nightmare to configure using a book menu or is limited ( Better Vampires with MCM let´s you choose the spells and powers that you like, the power does not ).
  14. Nice to be proven wrong.
  15. If I´m not mistaken, Steam will update regardless of the time it is allowed in when you launch the game ( coincidentally there are only 2 settings, always autoupdate or update on launch ). So I fear his experiment will ultimately fail.
  16. @3DMaster: "Unfortunately ELFX is not compatible with RLO, so you will have to pick what you want as per your tastes. RLO is based on subtle and realistic lighting, while ELFX has awesome cinematic lighting and effects, thus is a lot more atmospheric or dramatic. If you are looking for an alternative to RLO - ELFX is the one you should look at next - without a doubt one of the greatest lighting mods ever made. If you want a subtle realism mod, RLO might be for you. If you want a very cinematic and technically appealing mod, ELFX might be for you! "
  17. chargen.dll has not yet been ported to SSE, that means that facegen export doesn´t work for the time being.
  18. And yet the hardware is prone to develop the same defects as in a pc. So it very well could be hardware induced. That would explain the rarity of it. One bit out of order and the engine goes bonkers.
  19. USSEP doesn´t fix anything engine related. That is something only beth can do.
  20. You can use Acquisitive Soulgems for that.
