  1. Hi all. I'm trying to add a script on to a player alias. I want the script to change a variable when any enchanted weapons or armour are picked up. I'm a little confused with how to do this though, any help would be appreciated.
  2. Hi all, I'm trying to set up some quest aliases which fill with - find matching reference in loaded area. I have set them up so that they fill with store keepers in stores. How do I make them select different npc's. At the moment, they both fill with the same npc. Any ideas?
  3. No worries, I think I've solved the problem now.
  4. So far to find the locked door, I'm just using a quest alias which fills with the closest match in the loaded area, the the match conditions being locked and a door. Not using a script to find the doors. My issue is only having the dialogue pop when close to said alias..Getdistance doesn't seem to work for me here.
  5. Hi all, I'm trying to add a function to my follower to unlock doors. The unlock part is fine, I want to initialize it through dialogue. The thing is, I only want the dialogue to show when player is close to a locked door. So far, I've made a quest alias which finds a matching reference in loaded area, closest. Match conditions getlocked and getisobjecttype door. The alias fills in game. Now for the dialogue, this is where I run in to problems. For the condition, I've tried getdistance parameter use door alias, run on player. This doesn't work. Then I tried run on quest alias, this kinda works but the dialogue always shows. I just want it to show when you are within 64 units distance. Any ideas?

  7. Thanks for answering dude. Yeah, I think I'm going to skip the door unlocking part and yeah. I think I'm done with the packages anyway, I don't think there are that many so hopefully ok.
  8. Another quick question. I have very limited experience with scripting, so quite a few functions in my mod are done with packages attached to my follower alias e.g follow distance, outfit change. Is it bad to have loads of packages on one alias?
  9. Hey all, I'm currently making a custom voiced follower. I want the follower to be able to unlock doors for the PC. I'm sure it is possible, maybe witha package, but I can't quite seem to work it out. Anyone have any ideas?
