  1. I have no idea what is going on now. I have not changed any of my mods, and now I'm crashing to desktop on startup. I've looked through it - no Dawnguard only mods, or anything in the wrong load order (I hope, as I have BOSS go over it after every change). I was just playing Skyrim an hour ago, so this layout was fine before this. EDIT: Fixed Attachment;
  2. I recently uninstalled all my mods, and bit by bit, I reinstalled them - editing load order manually, then using BOSS. Now, even though I know all of the mods worked fine last night (before I wet through the above), I'm getting constant crashes to my desktop. I went from 145 mods, down to my base of 84? (a lot of texture tweaks). I have the fully updated SKSE. I'm slowly unactivating my mods, until I find when it works, but this is annoying. (I think this might be in the wrong spot, if it is, I'm sorry) EDIT: Found a Dawnguard only file that slipped past me. Fixed it.
  3. I recently broke my old mouse, and after fussing around, I got a trackball - which actually works 100 times better (for me). Unfortunately, I had my zoom in 3rd person stuck to right behind my back, and I cannot undo this. (FPS over-shoulder view to be exact) I have a Logitech Marble Mouse. I have it's SetPoint function to have my Forward button become an autoscroll button - which works fine on windows, not in game. It's also set to keep that function in a game, but Skyrim's not recognizing it. I do know that Skyrim uses the mousewheel, but I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try/know what I could try? (Any mods, either?)
  4. I'm a good-hearted ranger. No wonder I like sniping bandits around Whiterun and sneaking in thier camps. :3
  5. I think it's from some of my new mods, or that I had to delete another Skyrimpref file, as my game was using one for something, and the other for configurations (My Documents/My Games/Skyrim + Steam/skyrim) Now, my "Save on Character menu" is constantly stuck on 5 minutes, and no way to disable it in-game; every time I try, it flickers only to 10 minutes - for a split second. Is there any way I can fully disable it, via console, or SkyrimPrefs? EDIT: .... and nevermind. Found out where it is by poking around.
  6. I tend to play as a normal/everyday character in game. Like, thanks to mods, I can have an alternate start, instead of having the main quest pop up, so I'm no Dragonborn.. unless I stumble into it. My rules are still a bit basic though. It also depends on race, or how I feel in-game/want to RP as. But I have some main rules. I do allow my characters to slowly change though. 1.) No fast travel - I don't even use the carriages either... not that I think it's wrong, I just don't like them. I'm a bit slow to get on the back of them too, so the driver always yells at me. 2.) Stick to my gut - If I decide to play as something (I lean towards hunter/archers/thieves), I stick with it. But, there are exceptions. I do have my hunter take on Bandits - only if they attack first, or I'm bored with trying to shoot elk. My thief will kill, and so on. [variable - Race] 3.) Play by my kind - If I want to roleplay as a race, I play as that race. If it's not allowed a home/ horse - I don't get it. For example; I go a Khajiit - I will not go into towns/Cities, unless I have a work around, like in Riften - I buy my way in. The only real exception, with my Khajiits - is if the town isn't a main one, I can enter**. Yes, this style is the hardest. [Khajiit **] - If I do enter a town/ city (like Riften) - I have a time limit, as most people inside (Nords) despise my kind, I mainly go 5 minutes (in my time), to do what I need to. Of course, this is mostly from me going to get potions/ craft gear - as I have the dumb habit of getting Smithing up early (Classic Classes mod). [Khajiit] I only sell/buy from the caravans... unless the above,or in Riften. [Argonian] I found myself sticking to the waterways, as being out on land for so long made me itch. *** Town restrictions: Riften and Solitude - anywhere snowy is off limits. I also go by armor restrictions: on Khajiit and Argonians - I do not wear helmets. *** I do not like going Argonian, as I keep getting glued on this skin error on the back of their heads, it's on the right side, from the ear to back of head. Does anyone know if a mod can fix that?
  7. I've been unable to add mods in with NMM at all, into my Oblivion game. But, I have installed an Alternate Start mod into it - that works fine. Now, I have tried this game, without the alternate start mod running, and some icons are still these... random colored dots. I'm not certain if it's from a shoddy mod install, or something else is wrong. I'm going to try and get a picture up, to show you what I mean. My game: Oblivion - GOTY version - Knights of Nine and Sheogorath (I forgot the actual name) in it. EDIT: ...and I forgot how to grab a screen shot in game... v.v
