  1. Mod files will still stay in the game folder, so those would have to be removed before a re-install. Back up your save files then remove that folder, clean install then start adding mods 5 or so at a time untill you encounter the one thats causing it. I had the same problem but one of my mods NMM did not still it fully after a re-install so i had half a mod installed and half not so the game would crash just like whats happening here that i see.

It sure does change skyrim, i love the looks of it when i had it but after awhile of all the incompatibility of the mods i had with tropical skyrim, i removed it. been a serveral months now since i last had it but some of the tree's and objects had no collision with anything so you can walk through or even kill npcs through them. A soon to be great mod a WIP i would call it. if you dont mind some bugs and mod incompatibility then it would be a great mod to get. With skybirds for tropical skyrim they do fly through the water, rocks, underground and so on. lol :)

I have never been able to get the unofficial patch to work, until i cleared up my oblivion and started fresh with my mods. currently i am using my personal mods, the unofficial patch and qarls TP III . I am wanting to patch my mods to work with the unofficial patch. I have never done anything like this before i and see people do it all the time to their mods, i like them both but having a few floating rocks and mushrooms, etc. bugs me. So my question is how i can i patch my mods to work with the unofficial patch. :ermm:
  4. You can't downgrade. If a problem is getting worse ask for help on that or there might be a fix coming :)
  5. Stormcloaks ehh. they are the rebels and wanting a revolution to reclaim skyrim for the nords and take it away from the imperials. The imperials / legion are not bad people, and with being threatend by the stormcloaks they will be rude. The Thalmor can go and jump off a cliff, I love to kill them on sight. Both ways you wont be greatly rewarded for winning the war. Ulfric will claim his power over skyrim again and you will be just a pawn but so called hero. Legion just about the same. losing whiterun and solitude, the 2 biggest towns and the best locations I think in skyrim.
  6. removing the .ini files from the your saves folder location won't hurt your saves but if you have custom settings they will be lost.
  7. Have you tried removing and letting skyrim re-install the .ini files or its not fully loading those cells? don't think it would be a mod, but from modding oblivion my 1st thought they are not set to visible from distance. just an idea.
  8. Anyone know if this bug is going to get patched by bethesda? Since 1.7patch I have been getting npc's and creatures within a radius of two horse's will port through any cell door I enter. I have had dwarven robots port with me from the markarth quest for the forsworn and give me 1,000+ bounties just from coming into town and wanted by all the guards, no go to jail etc its kill or die. Even in other cities I have guards, beggers, and kids that will port into merchant houses with me and about everywhere I go. :wallbash: Its not mods because I get this sometimes on my labtop and everytime I play it on PS3.
  9. Do other followers do it? flying in the sky like when you run around the world they fly in the air?. I know I have problems that sound kinda like that but its in caves and ruins with the swinging axe's and logs they will get shot through the wall and teleport / fly around for a bit until I enter a new cell. But if they fly around everywhere you go and that, I think it would be something wrong with the animation of the npcs or something was on the npc.
  10. Yep your game needs to be updated to the current patch or atleast 1.8 for almost all the mods. @M48A5 - " Steam does this automatically " yes and no. you can stop steam from updating the game or you can just run in offline mode for months and no updates etc.
  11. Is there any good outposts mods or village mods that have a player home, merch-etc, and npc's? That are fresh not redo's of Skyrims or WIP's?
  12. I am not a model or texture modder. but If anyone is bored and good at those. ( Adventure Time Weapons ) If your able too me and my younger brother watch that cartoon all the time and they have some epic looking swords and seem real to the time nothing future. My favorite of his swords is the root handled sword. Feel free to post anything, just thought of it this morning.
  13. since I went online Sat. 23 it updated now all I get is. The editor works ok can't do any big mods but I use it for adding misc and looking up locations. Error: Renderer creation failed with error: ShaderModel3 required but not supported by your video card.
  14. Hm. strange, i have steam workshop mods and use NMM for nexus site mods and it works fine, no problems. you use NMM or install by hand?
  15. Well all the npcs names will be basic pretty much what they are. Lydia is just her name used in game like that whiterunhousecarl is what she is. so anyone else would be about the same. Mods that add npcs should be easier to find if people make custom names. Never used NPC Editor, i would say learn the CK, it would be alot more usefull and if you need anything else. but thats just me.
