Feedback I'm providing: 1. Mod authors can be utterly unreasonable without any repercussions. 2. Nexus tells you to talk to the mod author to get unblocked, but does not provide so much as the author's name once you're blocked. For the moment, I won't name any names, but there is a graphics mod for a game. There were several recommended settings on the mod page for making the best of the mod. One of the settings that I can recall is setting "toggle sneak" to on. I made a comment, asking about the settings. My comment was extremely neutral. I didn't criticize. I merely asked/expressed confusion. Next day, I come to look and the comment is gone. I'm super confused. I look around for any sort of notification, like that my comment has been deleted or a private message explaining why. I find nothing at all. So, I mentally shrug and made a comment that said something like this: "Some of the recommended settings make no sense to me. What does toggle sneak, for example, have to do with (your mod)?" I then had my access to the mod blocked. The blocked message tells me I can attempt to amicably resolve this with the page author (without providing any information on how to even find the page author's name.) But, even if I knew how to contact them, I have no idea how to amicably resolve anything with someone who would act so unreasonably. The message also tells me that Nexus moderators won't get involved. Edit: I have noticed that for whatever reason, the comment itself is still there. So I was able to use my profile to find my way to the comment, and thus to the thread, and the mod author's name. However, even though I can do that in this instance, the problem would still exist if my comment had been removed, which I assume the mod author did in the first case.
