I have looked through all of the available game merchandise to find any enchanted item which "Fortifies Speechcraft" or "Fortifies Enchanting". So my request as follows; A tome or item (unenchantable) which adds the "Fortify Enchant" ability to the Enchantment list at the Arcane Enchanter. A tome or item (unenchantable) which adds the "Fortify Speechcraft" or "Fortify Speech" (whichever it is) ability to the Enchantment list at the Arcane Enchanter. Thanks for any help with this you can provide.

I am curious if a weapon from previous TES releases was simply left out of Oblivion entirely on purpose or accidental oversight. The weapon I am speaking of is the "Crossbow" with suitable ammo for it. Have I missed something or is this how it is supposed to be? If this item was somehow overlooked in Oblivion, then a suitable mod to introduce it to the game may be possible. If anyone knows the reasoning behind omitting the "Crossbow" from this game then please let me know. In addition, if a mod has already been developed to introduce this weapon to the game please let me know as well so I can find it. Thanks All!

After I got my game totally reinstalled I have very few to no issues overall. I still get the very occasional CTD but nothing bad and rarely happens. Thanks for all of the help here!

I just posted on the "Skyrim Toy Story" mod asking the question if this ability could be added or updated into that mod. If not, I would still ask that someone please make a mod that can do this. Thanks!

When I look at the gifts so far allowed to be gifted to your adopted children I do not find the ability to gift necklaces and/or rings (enchanted or not) to your adopted children. I read a post from 2013 where a request had been made to be able to gift children's armor and little interest it seemed so I added my comment to that post about adding necklaces and/or rings as possible gifts. I would like the ability to custom enchant a necklace and/or ring to be gifted to my two adopted girls if I choose. Please consider this if possible. Thanks!

I have decided to totally reinstall Skyrim from my original disk and when that is done STEAM will finish the basic Skyrim game install and the DLC that is in my owned list. When STEAM is finished I can play the game a few minutes and save. Exit the game and set up SKSE along with a few selected mods I already have on my storage drive for my selected games. If I am successful I will have my game back to where I played seemingly flawless game play for over 350 hours until this problem happened. I will put my efforts to work when STEAM is finished with the updating process. Thanks!

I thought I had successfully posted my CTD issues on this forum but I could not locate it. I will repost what I am facing in my attempt to make my game playable again. I ran into a problem with fast travel from Solstheim to Skyrim. When I try to fast travel by clicking the map marker to return to Skyrim or when I try to pay the boatman for passage just after the load screens start then the first screen fades then CTD. I tried to start a new game and the game loads the initial load screen then CTD. I will attach my dxdiag log at the bottom of this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As of the moment I have put this quest on hold for further investigation. But another problem has come into play. Now I am trying to go back to Skyrim from Solstheim (Raven Rock) by boat passage. After paying the boatman the fade-out starts like usual for travel but during the fade-out I CTD now. I am totally lost at this point. Forget all of this thread. I went back to an earlier save when I first got to Solstheim thus avoiding any previous and/or future problem(s). I hope by going back to that save I can avoid whatever happened with this quest when it starts again. THANKS!

I am not totally sure as to what is going on except my character seems to be stuck mid-quest because of a hang up of some sort. I am in the middle part of "The Gardener of Men" at the part where I had just returned after learning the second word of the shout but Hermes Mora(sp) will not give the third and final word until he learns the "secrets of the Skaal" from the Skaal Shaman himself. I returned to the Skaal Shaman Storn with the demand placed on me for the last word and he quite quickly agreed to give the secrets of Skaal to Hermes Mora(sp) and asked for the 'black book' which I handed to him. Then he turned and started walking to the spot where I presume he was supposed to open it while his daughter Frea pleaded not to do it. Then he stops and stands in that spot and that is where my character is hung in this quest. The name of the quest is; "The Gardener of Men" and the Quest ID is DLC2MQ05 Any help here would be greatly appreciated. If nothing else, can someone please instruct me how to advance this quest to the next step. I am aware of the console command sequence but I don't know how that applies to this quest because I don't know the stage sequence to advance it further with the console. Thanks

NMM 0.50.0.0a now available for brave alpha testers
Redbeard007 replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I just downloaded this alpha build to my computer. I have one question prior to installing; Does this NMM 50.0.1 allow for the previous version to run separately without replacing it? When this question is answered I will install and try my hand at testing and reporting any errors/problems I encounter. If it is possible to have the earlier version of the current NMM running separately and this version only reading the data it needs leaving the previous version 'as is' I think it would allow more information to be accumulated prior to the 'Open Alpha' release when it goes to the normal NMM downloads. Thanks -
This may actually be the wrong forum for this topic. That said, I would suggest if you are looking for a better view of the skies and weather(s) you may want to look at Nevada Skies mod. As far as user interfaces you may also want to look at The Mod Configuration Menu and its associated companion components. There are others but I won't go into them here. Good Luck with your new game! This topic could be better served if it were on the New Vegas Mod Talk forum.

Have you used FNVEdit and looked at the probable error? If not when all of your mods are installed then it usually is something as simple as the 'load order' that causes the crash. I personally went through a total re-install of my FNV Ultimate Edition game with my extensive mod list installed and I found it took several times through the boot sequence to get to the final 'load order' that I am now using and even now I get an occasional CTD because of the way this game uses the available mapped memory for redundant tasks. And yes, I am using Project Nevada along with the newest NVEC mod(s).

Major crashing issues
Redbeard007 replied to TheSentinelSuperSpy's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
My personal view on the CTD issue with FNV Ultimate Edition which I am running now and the original release which I used until I completely re-installed only FNV Ultimate Edition just last week is the problem of listing exactly the same items multiples of times instead of just one listing with the number of the total of like items being held. When you look through your inventory after playing the game for several hours there are many listings of exactly the same item instead of the listing once with the total after for the number of copies of that item. If this were fixed then the major issue with the game trying to list all of those copies separately then IE ... CRASH! ... because it runs out of mapped memory the game uses that the final result is out-of-memory is CTD! This is my personal view and so far I have found nothing else that is game-wide-globally that uses so much of the available game mapped memory resource. Couple that with the number of hours played and again a multiple of some of the same items mentioned previously add more and more lines of 'forced' stored memory than most people have for game usage. I have 16 GB of top rated RAM in use today and I still get CTD because of the way the game is using the available resources. -
When I select the "Four Eyes Perk" I am wearing the "Lucky Shades" and when I look at my stats I see a penalty of -1 personality instead of the supposed +1 personality that is supposed to be present. The penalty is only supposed to appear if no glasses of any kind are worn. Please fix this Four Eyes Perk so it will work correctly with the "Lucky Shades" sunglasses. Thanks
