  1. I'm having a weird issue where the reflection on some of my gun mods is entirely the wrong way, or something similar that is making the mesh appear darker on one side than it should be. Normal maps are consistent with the others, speculars are similar, and diffuse is the same. Material file is identical to the others without the issue. In the picture it shows the furthest along mod, the barrel extension part is shiny on the wrong side. No problems in blender or 3ds Max. No vertex colors. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Edit: Turns out the barrel is fine, it's the receiver that has borked normals.
  2. Just gonna throw it out there that the texturing workflow in Fallout 4 is incredibly bad if you're using something like substance painter. The shaders will always be way off. It uses a bizarre Spec/Gloss that basically never works quite the way you'd like, just in my experience.
  3. I'll start by saying that first off, the generator works for recording in the Geck, but will NOT work when clicking "generate" for a pre-recorded file. Placing the "Processing" folder in Sound rather than Voice makes it say that it's missing, but then placing it back cause the generate button to return to not doing anything. I've deleted any "dummy" files that were recorded, and double clicking previews the sound I want to generate a lip for, but the generate button never does anything (Unless it's not working properly, where it tells me the processing folder isn't existent). All other records of something like this have one reply but no real answer. I really don't want to use the in-built recording system for obvious reasons, but since it's the only thing I can get working I might have to. Does anybody have the same issue? EDIT: Turns out, in all my genius, I forgot to convert the files from Stereo to Mono.
  4. I'm actually working on a mod like this right now that will be a vanilla-like integration of retextures for weapons. It doesn't get rid of ALL the rust, more makes it seem like it's actually been cleaned in a post apocalyptic environment. I've done the super sledge already, if you want to see if it's like what you want, I'll post a picture. Whole mod's probably gonna take a while to finish considering the amount of stuff to retexture though.
  5. What sort of textures (if any) do you need at the moment? I could definitely make any color swap or faction type textures if you need them, although it looks like you might be covered.
  6. Like the title says; Would using the Ap_Melee_Material keyword for a mod cause any problems with other mods? Should I create an entirely new mod group? I want it to be as compatible as possible with any other mods.
