  1. (Please disregard.. uploading so many images was not as easy as I thought.. going to scrap this for now! Sorry!)
  2. I am also having a similar problem. I keep getting a CTD after starting a new game. I cannot figure out what the load order is supposed to be. Getting help for Morrowind is like trying to find a four leaf clover these days. See how many 0 reply threads are in the troubleshooting section? I am quite frustrated.
  3. You guys talk as if the game no longer exists. I still play it. ;)
  4. In my humble experiences these problems are rarely solved in any way tha we laymen can understand. It always involves some complicated BS that few casual players can understand. I just use mods.. I cannot edit files, I cannot create mods, I have no idea how to freaking fix this faction bug. My game has the Lydia voice bug and cannot buy breezehome problem I am just going to accept that no one has any idea how to explain how to fix this in terms that we can understand. I will just have to buy a new house and use a companion mod. Lydia is hardly the sexiest companion out there! :D Plenty of good mods have better companions. Then of course you could always go with Serana if you don't like companion mods.
  5. I forgot to kill her brother but now that Camilla is dead it is not important. However, Sven's mother was killed incidentally. Witnesses had to be silenced. This is not exactly something that my Nord priestess of the Nine would normally do but.. she was not a happy woman. Traitors die in fire:
  6. So I woke up the day after our marriage.. Camilla went upstairs and I sat down in my chair to wait 3 hours. Then I saw Faendal and Camilla coming down the stairs.. :D ... :D ... :D .... I sometimes wonder if wood elves are kind of like orcs and nords. We usually consider wood elves to be stealthy, careful, and cautious people, but now I wonder if some of them willing seek out death in battle. I honestly do not know what else could possibly cause Faendal to do something so suicidal, so stupid, so absolutely mad! And Camilla! What is her problem?! I took her as this chaste, one woman kind of woman! Did she accept my marriage proposal out of pity??? Well I will return her kindness in the same way that she returned my own: Pain. Her brother is going to die.. and then she is going to die. Three "upstanding" citizens of Riverwood are about to die. What a black day for the hold of Whiterun. P.S. Sven is going to die as well for good measure. I am sure that the bard had something to do with this and that he had a "turn" when I was asleep.
  7. I doubt that we know enough about what a non-human sentient species could or could not look like to even begin to answer your inquiry scientifically. In ES lore everything was magically created. Yes creationism > evolution here. Could a sentient species evolve and look like Argonians? I would say yes. Who are we to claim to know for sure though? We have yet to find a single ET life form anywhere so we cannot possibly know what they could or could not look like. If another sentient life form evolved on Earth with us they might also have evolved humanoid. Look at extinct hominids for example. It is even said that troodon might have evolved along similar lines with humans. They might have been bipedal in the way that we are. The hypothetical depiction of an evolved troodon was however, tail-less, and the snout was very much diminished in length. But again that was a hypothetical illustration. They may have very well looked like Argonians had they been able to evolve to absolute sentience.
  8. I figured out a way to make Skyrim more fun again and to bring a new roleplaying experience. The Illusive Man from the Mass Effect Universe escaped the destruction of the events in the third game by crawling his way into a randomly spawned portal that appeared on the Citadel shortly after the Crucible was activated. He found his wounds healed, his hair a bit longer, and his eyes a normal light blue. Otherwise I made him look surprisingly similar to TIM. Close enough to be convincing. Time to take over the DB and the Thieves Guild and resume the shadowy activities that TIM is well known for. Although the dimension he now finds himself in is.. to say the least.. VERY different from his native universe, he will adapt, and make Nirn hate him just as he made an entire galaxy fear him. Magic has replaced biotics, crossbows have replaced guns, but his resolve has not been weakened. He is haunted by old faces, people who he resented, but respected, yet hated him with every fiber of their being. They are all gone now, probably dead, but that is unknown. He once told his employees to "get over their pasts and focus on their cause." He has to walk the walk now and take his own advice. He needs to rebuild his power base in an alien world that also contains familiar creatures such as wolves, fish, and deer. Seems like a good roleplaying opportunity since I like Mass Effect as much as I like the Elder Scrolls. Have any of you ever roleplayed a character from another universe and worked them into Skyrim? No matter how far-fetched their means of getting to Nirn (I admit that the way that TIM got there was.. 1 in 1000000) was? Haha.
  9. Considering that he inherited a HOUSE. He must have been richer than 100 gold..
  10. Talk about lore breaking. Have you ever played any other ES game? Have read the book, "On Lycanthropy"? The book is in Morrowind but I bet you never played that. These new players coming in are going to destroy established lore going back twenty five years from the first ES game. The different lycanthropes are strains of lycanthropy which can affect ANY race. There is no reason, science, or logic behind it. That is the problem with the new generations of gamers, they have their heads filled with too much left brained logic, and lack the capacity to use their imagination, if they have one. This is a fantasy game, and breaking the lore just so your head does not explode is not something that any modder is obligated to do. I apologize if this seems like an overkill rant but you are the 10000th person to suggest race specific lycanthropes, or race restricted lycanthropes, and it is so lore breaking that it makes Star Trek look like LotR. Please try to consider the possibility that in a fantasy world, species can change via magic, which needs no scientific explanation, or adherence.
