  1. Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I've been having to use Player Views as an alternative but it's much less organized. I hope someone does find a legitimate fix for this soon.
  2. Hello everyone! So about a week ago I put up a post on Reddit for an interest check on the potential of a werewolf DLC mod basically creating an entire new quest line to play through as a werewolf that is independent of the Companions from vanilla Skyrim. I personally loved the Companions quest line but there was something unsatisfying about it once I was complete with it. I didn’t quite feel like I had quenched my thirst for a full werewolf playthrough. I also felt like it was a bit too easy. One day you’re a “new blood” and the next day you’re the Harbinger. This didn’t make sense to me and quite honestly broke a bit of my immersion. I decided to scour the community for a fix to this but came to find that mostly werewolves were given overhauls and cool perks but not necessarily a story. That’s when I decided to try to fix this issue and make one of my own with the hopes that others would enjoy it as well. Now that the long life-story introduction is over… To get a mod of this scale built is going to take some time. That being said, I would like to extend my search into the community for potential writers, modders, and voice actors to help create this into the vision that I see it as. I’m personally new to modding but I’m ambitious and would really love to see this mod blossom not just for the community but for myself as well. For now, I will only be recruiting a couple writers who are interested as the other positions will open up once I have a more in-depth script and quest line created. I have the following criteria if you wish to be apart of my team: WRITER GUIDELINES Must be professional in that you submit work in a timely, continuous fashion that adheres to agreed upon deadlines.Must be willing to contribute your time for free. This is completely hobby based and unpaid.Must be able to write in an organized, script format.Must be able to create intricate, unique, and compelling characters and stories.Must be able to be flexible and capable of working with others.Must be able to keep mod updates and information away from the public until given explicit permission to release.Must have a reliable source of communication (Skype preferred).Must have a creative mind! For inquiries please feel free to PM me here at the Nexus or contact me via my email: [email protected]. I really look forward to working with others from this community, building this mod and putting out updates to get feedback on how to make it better. Most importantly, I look forward to making sure this mod is the best it can be so upon release it’s everything I could have hoped for. Thank you for your time.
  3. I'm completely no help to this at all but I just wanted to let you know I ran into literally the same experience that you did. - Played on console - Switched to PC - Tried OG Skyrim on a brand new Windows 10 system - Had tons of instability - Determined that SE would be better setup and came to found it ran wonderfully - Am currently in the process of adjusting and waiting for SKSE64 So.. you're not alone, friend! I will say that majority of the mods I was looking forward to were already ported. And with a beta version already in the works with apparent great progress, I'm more than hopeful and patient to wait until the full mod list I'd like to have is completely ported and/or available. Just throwing in my 2 cents. Good luck!
  4. Hi, I'm brand new to modding and I'm slowly learning the ropes but there's an issue that I'm having with an animal follower mod I've been trying to create. I've been using Darkfox127's tutorial on YouTube and so far the dog has shown up in game and has the dialogue options I've placed, however whenever I click on the options, none of the text that I inputted as the dog's response shows up. Also, when I first walk up to the dog it starts following me automatically without me having to click the "Follow Me" option. I've used Darkfox127's scripts and followed his tutorial to the letter so I'm not sure where to go just yet as scripting and the CK in general seem like a totally new beast to me. But I'm pretty good at learning fast so long as things are explained i.e what they do and their purpose and maybe an example. I'll post the Dismiss Script below since that's the first thing I've been troubleshooting and can provide any other scripts as necessary. Hopefully someone can help me get to the bottom of this! This is in the Papyrus Fragment section: (pDialogueFollower as DialogueFollowerScript).DismissAnimal() And this is the actual script section: Scriptname DFDogDismiss Extends TopicInfo Hidden {Animal follower script. Place this text into your script as shown in my tutorial and change the script name to match your own.} ;PROPERTY Quest Property pDialogueFollower Auto ;FUNCTION Function Fragment_0(ObjectReference akSpeakerRef) Actor akSpeaker = akSpeakerRef as Actor (pDialogueFollower as DialogueFollowerScript).DismissAnimal() EndFunction Also I guess when I was clicking around things, something messed up and now I can't edit the source code for the script so I may have to re-do it entirely; bummer.
  5. Not sure if you guys noticed this but this mod offers the feature you guys are looking for: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18866/? It's called Hunting in Skyrim and if you look at their website it goes into depth about the realistic skinning feature, explaining how the author wanted there to be skinning similar to Red Dead Redemption. Hope this helps!
