After a while it has been started to itch again and I reinstalled skyrim. Last time I played I used lots of mods and the most fun I had with the total overhaul mods that revamped the game. Ive seen there's a successor of the SkyRe mod, is it any good? I'm looking for an overhaul that makes the game realisticly hard; no more overpowered enchanting, 1v5 npc's and stuff like that, while the game should still be hard at higher levels.

Ok so I encountered several npc's with the same bald spot on their head and found out they were wearing a headpiece from the mod Cloaks of Skyrim (hood, white fur etc.) I tried to fix it by saving and reloading but then my characters head became bald and theirs was fixed 0.o When I saved/reloaded again then it was their head with a bald spot and mines was fixed. edit: I was lying, it's actually from the mod Wet & Cold I think. Disabling both does fix the npc bald spot, but not my character's

When I die and the game automatically reloads the latest save, my helmet gets bugged out. You see a big bald spot on top of my characters head with some hair along the sides. It looks like the game registers the headpiece to be equipped but it can't actually show it. I can fix it by quicksaving and reloading the save again but I grow kind of weary having to do this everytime I die.

He just approached me with a letter about possible adoption so I guess the courier script is working alright. Weird how he doesn't give me a letter from the dark brotherhood and the white phial though, guess Ill have to start them manually then How do you restart a quest? Is that even possible when it's already listed as completed? And how do I start repairing the white phial quest? I tried setstage ms12b 0 and setstage ms12b 10 but nothing happens. It did work for the With friends like these quest though

Ok thanks for that. do you know any way to test if the courier is working properly? Like triggering him to send me a letter to test if it works alright?

Tried it but nothing happens. Also that stage is almost the ending of the Repairing the phial quest, while the problem is I don't get any letter to even start the quest in the first place. Same issue for the quest With friends like these

I've done quests like the white phial and killing grelod but I don't get any letter from a courier afterwards? It's almost been a week gametimes since those quests and I've slept several times. Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm having a problem with my game; I can't do damage in any way. I can receive damage though, and attacking npc's do react in the way they should when you swing a sword to their head. I uninstalled every mod, reinstalled the game, create a new game so everything is as vanilla as it should, but the problem still persists. Any help will be greatly appreciated edit: Fixed it! Deleted some of the files in my games/skyrim like skyrimprefs.ini etc. and after that it worked again.

So I cured myself after Harkon bit me. I didn't finish any quests after that bite, I only have some quest active where I need to fill a chalice with blood or something. So now I cured myself from being a vampire, because after some screwing around as a vampire I found out I absolutely hated it, and want to start the dawnguard quests. I've been to ford dawnguard and they don't attack me or anything but I can only find 3 npc excluding isran(?, the leader of the dawnguard). They don't offer me quests or anything so is there any way to continue the dawnguard quests now without switching to a previous save, because that's surely not an option anymore. edit: Found isran, hes not offering any quests :(

The wiki pages say most followers have a level limited to 50, will they be able to go higher with console commands?

As the title already reveals, I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that my beloved companion will eventually stop leveling up. I already installed mods that make gameplay just as hard after level 50 and I want my companion/follower to help me out. Does anyone know a good mod that can fix this for me? Without all the unneeded and unbalanced ''FOLLOWERS LIMITED TO 100000 MAX FOLLOWERS f*** YEA''' stuff?

Alright so I´ve killed his twin brother by console, and afterwards I tried to recycle the other but when I did that he suddenly became naked. I tried to wait some days to see if the recycle worked anyway but he still didn´t open his store. Right now I continued playing on the save file where I didn´t recycle him so he still has his clothes on, but he just keeps standing behind his desk telling me to get the hell out his house whenever I unlock his door to see if hes doing anything. His son still seems to work around the house and sometimes I find him inside sweeping the floor.

How do I remove the NPC? I can't seem to kill one of him without letting the other witness it and get a big bounty on my ass. edit: I also can't do the click/point resurrect command somehow. I tried it by killing some npc's and aim/rightmouseclick on him once, open up console and type 'resurrect'. but nothing happens.

So Belethor had died somehow, I ressurected him by using the player.placeatme command, but I did that twice because I thought it didn´t work since his store kept being closed. Now I have 2 Belethor´s behind their desk in his store, worst of all I can´t trade with any of them. Any ideas on this?
