  1. Honestly can't remember anything strongly essential. Maybe that one that turns off that bos vertibirds flying around.
  2. There are some places where they stay hidden and then pop out from dirt, rubble, windows, roofs. It seems okayish for me.
  3. Just do all the main brotherhood quests first from the police station then from the prydwen thing. Then you have to chose between institute or bos when starting mass fusion quest.
  4. that is solved by 1) installing mods making vertibirds more durable (I use some brotherhood overhaul) 2) installing that nice small mod turning off generic vertibird encounters (because they are dumb and distraction anyway) As for ride height vertibirds change height when they meet an obstacle (building or pole or mountain) and that works fine, but they seem to not recognize newly built settlement objects or world objects from mods.
  5. Lol my settlements start to look more like aglomeration clusters of 3-5 per area with an army of automatron provisioners cleaning anything hostile in between them. But hey, if you lack quests just ask that minuteman guy you surely know well.
  6. try in console: prid 79305 moveto player or else build population management system terminal in any settlement and get quest to find companion from it.
  7. I heard that rumor but never had any issues with them though.
  8. There are balcony-like structures in the wooden section (one with cloth and one without) which are the only vanilla wooden windows available (except warehouse and barn series which have different height dimensions)
  9. I have two types of CTD: - First one is obviously from exhausting of available memory, when I change cells rapidly or just play all day long and even leave it paused overnight. - Second is very specific in workbench when I change one weapon or armor modification to another, say 0.44 revolver bull barrel to bladed bull barrel and each time the bugged pair of mods seems to be different (but if I switch it indirectly bull barrel - snibnose barrel - bladed bull barrel CTD won't happen as well as when just removing modifications to default instead of replacement) This second one is quite annoying though limited to workbench.
  10. Default underwear is a part of default pc texture as far as I remember. So I guess you need a body replacer or a nude pc texture first.
  11. It's a vanilla bug I think, but not very annoying in my case. Just ocassionally show wrong parts installed or wrong armor type for newfound ones, but owned ones are ok. Going for armors when below lvl 35 is a massive waste, better lvlup somewhere around starting point.
  12. Never experienced it at all fortunately and I run an army of automatrons for various roles. My game is very old like 10 years ago 1.10.98 and I won't risk upgrading it up I guess.
  13. I build dem all to the brink - nuclear power station and living house/barracks plus defence are the minimum. Even when I started I made big junk fence around whole sanctuary (but pesky raiders always spawned inside it nevertheless). Sanctuary/Red Rocket/Abernathy is more like a Commonwealth capital aglomeration now. And yeah stronk back perk to carry whole the materials for it. To say honestly I like building part of the game the most.
  14. That are precombines which are usually tied to some other object but haven't their own ref id. In dlc they are linked to scrappable objects usually, so you say scrap certain shelf or table and piles of trash around it disappear too. (but if you just store the item the magic won't happen) In vanilla they are usually persistent and there's nothing to do about it. Mods like scrapall are said to be tricky because they break precombines and make the whole game much heavier for your pc to run, though I have no much knowledge in that.
  15. From the other side any settlers seem to know time of the day very well, even if you fast travel or skip time waiting/sleeping. So maybe there are some scripts or mods which could make the workshop recognize time of the day too for the building purposes.
