  1. I don't intend to tell anyone what to do here, or to be demanding, but I just wanted to post here about this awesome armor created by Obsidian artist Craig Matchett, and bring it to the attention of any modders around these parts. The armor is called Sera's Parade Armor, and it looks unbelievably amazing. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qA13zL
  2. How hard is it to update them for SKSE, if I've never done that before? I downloaded a file from a stickied post that updated the mod for 1.5.80, but that didn't fix the issue.
  3. I've got the rest of my mods working, this is the last thing I need before my game is up and running. I keep getting the error "LockOn.DLL is not loaded" in the upper left corner when I start my game, but I can't fix it. I checked the mod's posts, and someone linked an updated version, but I tried installing that and it didn't work either. I noticed a couple weird things, like that the file is actually called LockOnSSE.dll, and that the mod's MCM menu mentions FISS and not FISSES, but I don't know if they matter. I tried renaming LockOnSSE.dll to LockOn.DLL, but that didn't help. I've also tried the mod Simple Lock-On, but I couldn't get that to work either. Is the mod just out of date? Should I try installing an older version of SKSE? Any help would be seriously appreciated. I basically have the game ready to go except this mod. Himika's Lock-On: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18266?tab=description Simple Lock-On: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18086?tab=description
  4. So I'm setting up Skyrim again, and I think it's a shame to have some of the coolest modded weapons or armor be available only through crafting or the console. Obviously a lot of these are added to custom dungeons, or have a quest tied to them, but many do not. Is there any sort of project that aims to take the most popular modded weapons/armors and place them as rewards in dungeons, or something like that?
  5. Lol thanks. I actually installed Rudy ENB and it worked fine, so I guess something is up with Photorealistic Tamriel. :P Rudy was my second choice, so it's all good.
  6. No, it wasn't that. I disabled all mods, and it's still doing it.
  7. Basically, it's really washed out, and I know it's not supposed to look like this. I'm using Photorealistic Tamriel. Here's an imgur link with screenshots: https://imgur.com/gallery/LIG3aKO Here's PRT: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4743

  9. Really simple question, but it requires good understanding of how to edit the controlmap.txt. I can't find any explanations of how the Menu Mode and subsequent sections work, but instead of coding the button presses with the actual key codes for each button, the codes are things like "activate", or "tween menu". This seems to imply that there is no way to make it so my "tween menu" (character menu) is activated by Select, but B works as back in the menus. It seems like it's hard coded to where the back button will always be the same as the menu, and the select button will always be the same as the activate button. Is this true, or is there a way around this?
  10. Thanks so much! I realized that I can disable the ability for the game to read controller inputs for Jump, Activate, Sprint, and Ready Weapon, and I can just use the hold or tap functions on A, B, X, and Y to activate these through keyboard using Xpadder.
  11. So, I use a controller to play Skyrim on PC, and I'm trying to get a setup going with several mods that add functionality, and the only way I can do it is by having my buttons multitask. For example, tapping B does a dodge roll, holding B sprints. This is easy to set up using Xpadder, which has my controller mimic mouse+keyboard, but the issue is that I have to use keyboard controls for this to work. The problem with keyboard controls is that when I'm in menus, some of the menu relies on the mouse in order to work. So, for example, the start menu has 3 tabs, and in gamepad controls I can use L and R to tab between them. But in keyboard mode, I have to click each tab with my mouse. All I'm looking for is a way to control menus in keyboard mode like I do when I'm in gamepad mode: tab between tabs using L and R, and be able to click any popups without having to move a mouse cursor over them. Is this possible? It doesn't seem like an extreme thing to try to do.
  12. I want a mod that lets me bind different functions to an Xbox controller for holding a button vs tapping it. There seem to be some mods with this capability, but none that let me completely customize the controls myself. There just aren't a ton of keys on a controller, and I'd like to set it up where tapping B uses TK Dodge, holding B sprints, tapping X pulls out my weapon, holding X lets me swap 1h or 2h with the Unlocked Grip mod.
  13. Hey guys, does anyone know if there's a mod that lets me toggle between the different areas of the Start Menu? As in, when you press Esc, or start on a controller, that menu has "QUESTS", "GENERAL STATS", and "SYSTEM" tabs. And if I'm playing in controller mode, I can tab between them by using the left and right triggers. I just set up my controller in Xpadder to do a lot of stuff that helps with mods like TK Dodge, but now I'm using keyboard controls with a controller, and it would be super handy to be able to switch between these the way I was when I was using controller settings. Otherwise, I have to use my right thumbstick like it's a mouse, which is less than ideal. Basically, I'd like to play like I'm using a controller (which I am), but with the added functionality of tapping/holding buttons doing different things, which I get from Xpadder. I hope I explained this adequately, and didn't confuse anyone, lol.
  14. I'm trying to set up a Dark Souls-like combat system through mods (I know, very original), and I've never done this before so I'm having issues. Ideally, I want to set it up so tapping B on my controller performs the dodge, and holding B sprints, but the best I can seem to get it right now is where my character will dodge roll, THEN sprint if I hold down B. Is there any way to fix this, like changing something in the .ini or something? Or is there a different mod that would let me do this? I'm open to any suggestions. Also, if anyone has any alternatives, like double-tapping to dodge and holding to run, I would try them out. I don't think this would be as good, but sometimes you gotta work with what you have. Or if there are any other combat mods that add dodging which let me do what I'm asking for, I would also be interested. Also, if anyone knows how I can UNBIND controller keys, I would be interested to hear about it. Because by default, all I seem to be able to do is switch which keys do what, and the function automatically binds to another key. Thanks for ANY help, seriously. :D
  15. Wow this forum is pretty dead, but maybe there will be someone on here. I just started TW2 for the first time and I'm about 10 hours in. I went onto the Nexus to DL the mod that disables effects on Dark weapons, and holy crap, it feels like every mod on the Nexus edits the base_scripts file. I got around it for a bit by picking and choosing, but this is starting to get ridiculous. Is there any utility out there that lets me use this mod and this mod together, just for example? I'd go in and edit the file myself, but it's one of those files where you get a bunch of weird black blocky characters in-between actual words, so I don't know how to do that.
  16. Vortex indeed does not understand OMODs, and it has definitely caused problems. I was actually considering just switching to Oblivion Mod Manager because there's a couple other files with the same issue. I'll give that a try, thank you. :D
  17. I've isolated the CTD to Darnified, and it happens as soon as I launch the game. I couldn't find any threads on this issue, so I wanted to see if anyone knew about this issue. My only thought is that I installed it with Vortex, and that caused a problem by missing a modular installer or something. I'll play without it if I have to, but if anyone knows what's up that would be cool. I'd try to fix it myself, but I'm no mod sleuth.
  18. I already searched but couldn't find anything here, so I thought I'd ask. I'm not talking about a mod that changes the controller to do keyboard buttons like XJoy or anything; I've already got the controller working fine in-game. Basically I'm looking for a mod that will remove the mouse from the equation: Make is so all menus are navigable with just wasd and the (use) button, and make it so the mouse doesn't appear on-screen when I'm using a controller. In particular, I can't figure out how to change from the character portion of the menu to the equipment portion, etc, without using the mouse. This isn't the end of the world or anything, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe someone will know a mod. Thx guys.
