I did figure out that I can download some mods by using the download manually feature under files and then opening the download link in a new tab to bypass the script that usually opens Nexus' pop-up utility. I've also been able to download on mod using NNM since posting the OP. I don't think all mod pages are affected by this glitch. However I would put money on it being a Java script problem.

Recently I've begun receiving error messages when attempting to download any mods. I've tried clearing my cashe and cookies. I'm using Firefox 54.0.1 on Windows 10 Home. Here's a screenshot of the error. I happens no matter how I attempt to download the mods. http://i68.tinypic.com/w7zcle.png
