  1. Hi, I have a question about turning Sound Loose Files into BA2 Archives for which I've found no answer. I am consolidating BA2 Archives using Creation Kit Archive2. I know the following: 1) Sound folder should go in - Main.ba2 2) I know I should NOT compress contents in the Sound folder, I should convert audio without compression BUT! Am I suppose to have two main.ba2s? One " - main.ba2" with scripts, materials and meshes that have been compressed and another " - main.ba2" with uncompressed Sound, or what am I missing here? Do I have to rename " - main.ba2" like main1.ba2 and main2.ba2 or something? Because when I go to Archive2 and select File > New > Compression > General and add Materials, Meshes, and Script with compression, how am I then supposed to remove compression for the Sound contents while keeping the rest with compression? I don't see the option of removing compression for Sound in a specific BA2 archive with both Sound and the rest of the folders. Or am I supposed to make a third BA2 archive, something like - main.ba2 - sound.ba2 - textures.ba2 ? Or do I have to leave compression to "None" for all contents of the BA2 archive? Like there is no choice but to leave everything: Materials, Meshes, Script, and Sound without compression? Won't that affect Materials, Meshes, and Script, to be left uncompressed? Every post I've read about ba2 Sound without compression only talks about not adding compression to Sound, but those posts are always short of mentioning how do I get the above done. lol I am going crazy over this. lmao Thank you for taking the time to read and for your help. :)
  2. I have read posts of people asking for this killer merge patch dated from even before I started playing Fallout 4. I was wondering whether we will one day get the hero or heroine that will step up and save the day. NAC https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7657 True Storms https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4472 NAC is a very popular mod which benefits a lot of ENBs out there, but it excludes other weather mods like True Storms. True Storms is one of the most popular weather mods that adds that unique feature of getting hordes of Feral Ghouls while rad storms assault the Commonwealth. Getting to merge these two mods would be a dream come true and I bet it would be a very popular mod. Something similar to this idea was made possible for True Storms and Vivid Weathers: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15908 The above mod is what I am thinking about with this mod request.
  3. You start writing the name of the mod and all the matches should pop up. You find the mod you need and click on it. Repeat for more mods. OH! I see! The problem is that I was copy-pasting the mod name and didn't allow the system to give me the suggestion. Now I finally got it working. Thank you Robotlev!
  4. Question: how do we specify which mod we are showcasing? 1) Name of the mod? 2) Link to the mod with "general tab" or "videos" tab included in the address link? What are we supposed to write under: "Featured modsIf your video is showcasing files that can be found on the Nexus, please add them below." ????
  5. And then they say: "Oh no you didn't!" and they draw weapons and start shooting at you. lol It would be great if you could extend your arm and hand and you actually see the middle finger shown in third person and first person. I guess something like this could be possible if showing the middle finger produces some minor damage that is barely noticeable but still turns NPCs hostile. xD
  6. Hi, I have been browsing mods for followers (companions) looking for a mod that will stop followers from disappearing and appearing as I move around or as they move around. When followers do that it breaks immersion to the point I am thinking on just having a couple of followers so I don't see them performing that silly magic trick of teleportation. It's like followers, at the slightest urgency of getting close to me but not being able to, they disappear and pop up close to me and it just looks so silly. My guess is that this was implemented by Bethesda to prevent followers from getting stuck and not being able to reach you, so now they just teleport near you in the most unrealistic way I can imagine. Is there a mod that can stop followers from doing this? I have looked here and have looked through Google but I only get results for when people can't find followers who got lost for whatever reason. Thanks for reading and for your help.
  7. Thanks a lot Dubious! Would you believe me if I tell you that yesterday I was checking this mod and saw how awesome it was but didn't realize it indeed had that "All Companions Wait" command. lol I even watched a tutorial in YouTube for this very mod but since it didn't mention the feature I thought it was likely it didn't have it... Actually, seeing how awesome this mod was and thinking it didn't have said feature made me decide to create this very topic, I was like: "If a mod like this doesn't have the feature then I guess if there is a mod with the feature it must be very hidden, let's ask the people from the Nexus because someone may have stumbled across such an obscure mod" lol But I was wrong, it indeed has the command. I installed the mod (I was afraid it would have a conflict with this other mod I have installed: Unlimited Followers Everywhere, but so far no problems) and it indeed made the trick. I hotkeyed the key " = " and now I can tell them to wait with a single press, exactly what I was looking for! :D I had a weird problem though, when I was configuring the mod the Game Menu glitched and I could only select the Mod Configuration Menu and could not click on the Save, Load, or Quite game options, the options were darkened and would blink when I clicked on them but would not function. I had to force close the game and start it again. So far the problem has not occurred again. Anyways Dubious, thank you for being so helpful! This will make make gameplay so much better without having to dismiss my squad.
  8. Hi, my first post and topic here, hopefully I won't screw it up somehow. lol I have been using the Nexus for some months now and I am fairly new to PC gaming and have been having a blast modding and all with the successes and failures and that. Recently while playing New Vegas I became aware that having all my companions behind me, killing everything that moves, was taking the fun away from the gameplay. The thing however is that I like them around, I just don't like them making me feel like we are in a contest of "who gets to kill the enemies faster" which they often win. I have seen some companion mods for New Vegas and read the descriptions of those cool mods, but I haven't found one that seems to include what I would like to do which is issue a single command that makes all the followers wait at the same time, just like that. I have seen mods that make accessing each companion easier and makes telling them to wait easier, but it is still a situation of choosing the 6 companions I have one by one every single time which is not practical. I want to go and say to my followers: "Wait here, I am going solo on this right here" and then they all wait. So, I was thinking that yes you guys have been around modding Fallout New Vegas more than I have and maybe there is already a mod that does this "All Companions Wait" command and that I just simply happen not to have stumbled across it in my failed searches. Please let me know if you know of such a mod. If it doesn't exist then I suppose it's time to dismiss most of my party. Can't be helped I guess. Thanks for reading if you got this far into my post lol and helping if you can. EDIT: And just like that, I screwed up the post title. lmao
