  1. After installing Nevada Skies I've got this problem with my night sky where mostly white dots appear all over the night sky textures?? When I uninstall Nevada Skies the issue doesn't happen but I would like to use the mod since there's no other problems. I've followed NS install instructions, I'm also using Next Generation ENB.
  2. Thank you saurus for helping me so far. Yes, NMM is in the same location. I have also found that 7zip is running into the same problem as well. So, my second hard drive (not C:) is not allowing other programs(NMM,7zip, ect) to change/add files to it unless said programs are ran as administrator. Can I change this so every time I want to add/update/remove a mod I don't have to continue to run NMM(or any program) as an administrator? EDIT: Files are being place with the file type as .symlink instead of say .dds for textures or .pex for script files.
  3. Sorry loose files might have been the wrong term for me to use. In NMM, I did redirect the install location to skyrim's new location. So if a mod contains a .esp file, mesh files, and texture files, then only what was being installed thru NMM and placed in the data folder was the .esp file. If I tracked down where the rest of the mod's files should be (ie textures/actors/characters/[character name]) the folders, if not already there, would be created, but they would be empty. After doing some searching I did find a temporary solution by running NMM as administrator. Everything worked like is should. So is this more of a problem to do with permissions?
  4. I got a new hdd and after setting it up I moved Skyrim to it and set up NMM to the new location. Now everything before the move works with no problems but when I'm trying to update existing mods or install new ones through NMM, the esp files will be there but when I track to where any loose files should be they are not there. If I try to manually place the mods in my data folder loose files still don't show up. What did I do wrong or what do I need to do?
  5. So tell me what are you all sleeping in? After a long days work of helping another settlement wipe there own ass, you make it back to whatever abode you call home, make yourself a hot meal, a warm bath, and slip into some comfortable... Where is the naughty nightwear?! Why does every outfit have shoes?! Who sleeps in a bed with their shoes on?! Bethesda why DID you remove the nightwear?! Jokes aside, what about some sleepwear? I haven't really seen any. Perhaps for women something like this: 1 2 And Men: 1 Or since this is technically post-post apocalypse something that looked patched and stitched together or even made of animal hide. Skyrim had the fur armor which looked good enough to snooze in. What do you think?
  6. So I am having an issue with starting a new game with a current load order. I wasn't expecting a problem and after doing some updating/uninstalling/installing new mods, I deleted most of my previous play through(like an idiot), and now I have this problem. I've tried to do it myself and tried looking in xEdit. If I knew what to look for I could figure out what the problem is. First at the character creation, if I switch to Nora, Nate will move back to his spot but Nora will not move in front making one character standing inside of another. I can still customize Nora and select to play her, and if I switch back to Nate, he will move back in front. This might be an unrelated issue or it could be part of the problem. Later the vault scene seems to go off without any problems. Out of Time starts and the quest markers will update as I go through the vault, and I leave the vault. When I go to Sanctuary and go to talk to Codsworth, he will not talk to me. If I just go to Concord and then back to him, he still does not respond. So I continue to Concord and to the Museum, after killing the raider Preston does his bit, Out of Time completes, but the second quest doesn't show up. I can go through the museum and talk to Preston and co, go outside, get the power armor, kill the raider/deathclaw, go back inside, the group is still in the room, Preston is hanging out on the balcony, and they still say their dialogue as if I have to go out and kill the raiders. So I try going to Abenathy? farm and talk to Blake to get his quest, but again the quest for him doesn't show up as started or appears in my Pip-boy. Scenario #2: Steam re-synced and restored my previous play through. This is from a save before exiting the vault, right at the elevator to leave. Most of this test is the same as above with the exception that Codsworth now will talk to me and after going to Concord, I can recruit him as a companion. Load order: Note: The only other thing besides changing mods(which I always do so I would seem odd if it was mod related because I don't think I have anything that would heavily impact quest), is that LOOT flaged the DLCs and Armorsmith Extended needing to be cleaned, which I cleaned before starting the new game. Still I should probably go through and remove mods I'm not using anymore to free up space in my load order. EDIT:Reverted DLCs and Armorsmith back. Problem still occurred. Updated mod list.
  7. Not sure what it's called but I've lately been running into issues like this across various places in the Skyrim world, in cites (So far just Whiterun), and Blackreach (With the water texture). Some are only seen from one direction while others will disappear as I walk towards where they seem to come from (Like in the screenshot of Whiterun, I'll walk up to the outside wall and is disappears) but later reappears. Most recent modding I had done (all through NMM) was removed Falskaar, uninstalled and reinstalled RWT w/out Falskaar support and the same with SkyFalls + SkyMills w/out Falskaar. Installed Brhuce Hammar - Legacy and Vivid Landscapes All-in-one (BSA, Update, and Non-ENB) when I had came across this, thought it might had been Vivid Landscapes causing is so I took it back off but the problem's still there. Mod List if needed
