Nexus Mod Manager Isn't Working!

Sorry I haven't replied in a while, I don't get a notification if someone replies to me, for some reason. Where should I install NMM?
Pressing "download using nmm" does nothing

I'm having the same problem except I am using the original Skyrim. I click "download using NMM" and nothing happens in the mod manager. I've tried opening NMM with administrator access but it doesn't fix anything.

I downloaded the 0.63.14 version of Nexus Mod Manager, and at first I tried to make SKSE scripts removable by making the Data folder into a .rar file but NMM wouldn't recognize it. Next, I tried to download Sky UI 5.01 with the manager but nothing happens! It's so frustrating and I can't find any sign of anyone else having this problem.
