  1. I think this is what you're looking for: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19083/? (No Camera Filters)
  2. At this point I gave up and started over. I believe it was a glitch regarding jail. A previous save before getting arrested was free from this problem.
  3. A quick update. I loaded an older save where I haven't started Discerning the Transmundane. Same thing happen when I go to Septimus, he won't give the quest items to me after I've used all dialogue options. I see its still in his inventory. I didn't bother stealing it and try to use.
  4. I've been looking for a while now for a solution but I can't find anyone with the same glitch. I'm at the part of the quest where you have to put the blank lexicon into the device in Tower Mzark so you can transcribe the lexicon and also get the Elder Scroll. Problem is I got the quest like normal but Septimus never gave me the attuning sphere or the blank lexicon. I've noticed it when I tried to open the hidden stairs in Dwemer dungeons that are connected to Blackreach. The 2 things I've tried so far is spawning the missing items into my inventory via console or going back to Septimus and pickpocket him for the items he was supposed to give me. The only difference I noticed is the one I pickpocket from him were tagged as quest items and can't be dropped while the console spawn ones can be dropped. I was able to get into Blackreach but when I have to put the blank lexicon on the device so I can transcribe it, it doesn't respond. I have tried both the one I stole from Septimus and spawned one but not response. I've even tried to reset the quest and see if Septimus would give the lexicon to me like normal but no luck there. I really don't want to skip the quest via console since I need to get the Elder Scroll too. If anyone has an on how I can get to the point where I can do the lexicon puzzle I'd appreciate it.
  5. After turning off all mods and reactivating each mod at a time I've discovered it was NVEC Enhanced that caused the problem. I then checked messages for keywords related to companion under the NVEC. One of the mod that it includes takes away companion perks when you get a certain distance from them was the cause. I cleaned up the .esp file with TESsnip and it works now. Hope this helps anyone running into this bug.
  6. I'm out of ideas as to why this is happening. I've looked everywhere online and on nexus for someone to have the same symptom as me. This applies only to the vanilla companions but when ever I get too far away from a companion that's waiting, the game would start to stutter and lag. The frame rate will drop horribly to the point where it's unplayable. The frame rate and lag/stutter will be gone once I get closer to the companion again. They're fine if they're in another worldspace or if they're fired/dismissed. I thought it was Better Companion Sandbox that cause the issue but disabling it still causes the problem. The Willow companion mod works fine. She can sandbox and wait and no problem there. Same goes to EDE. I've tried disabling any mod that effects companions but no results. This seems to apply only to vanilla humanoid companions. Does anyone know what causes it or know of another with the same issue?
  7. I've recently been posting at another forum and I mentioned something the moderators there thought I should spread the word. So now I'm posting it here. I don't think many people know about this but the spinning green beacon feature to call for a vertabird transport in the Enclave Commander mod, The vertabird always comes from the direction the right wing faces and face the direction of the eagle point at when it lands. In other words the direction of where the vertabird comes from is not random and can be controlled. You can choose it by letting the landing icon spin till its facing the direction you want. For example: if you want the vertabird to come from the direction in front of you, place the icon down when the eagle's left wing is pointing at you. The eagle's head will point to the left. That is the direction the vertabird will face when it lands. The vertabird will also bank right after lift off everytime when you send it away.
  8. I have the same problem as you here. I believe a mod is corrupting saves some how. This is my 2nd character that got screwed over. The first character I was playing had issues loading any new world cells. My save was somewhere in the wasteland. Loading that save was fine. But ever time I try moving too far (when moving in to another cell) or fast travel to any other place, it crashes. I even tried turning every mod and DLC off using just the fallout.esm and made a new save, quit, load the new save, and tried fast traveling. That still didn't work. Crashing even without a mod means the save is corrupted. I gave up and started a new character and was able to leave vault 101 no problem. Outside world didn't crash. But after some hours of game play now I'm stuck inside rivet city. I can move between cells in the ship no problem. But crashes whenever I tried to leave the ship. I'm so sick of this problem. I suspect Real Time Settler might have something to do with it since it creates special saves. I only recently started using the mod. I was using the mod with my first character. I disabled it with the 2nd character but didn't remake a merged esp with the fo3edit. Sooner or later I'm gonna uninstall fallout 3 completely and reinstall without RTS and see if it fixes anything. I won't know till I spend sometime playing since this problem won't happen till you've spend sometime into the game.
