Meadeiocre

So I downloaded it manually but I'm not getting a zipped file or even a folder Im just getting a regular file I put this where I believe it belongs and the characters show up in game but they do not actually talk and there is no subtitles either...I just get stuck for a couple seconds then dialogue options show up. I know this is an old thread but can anyone help me figure this out? I really like the look of this mod.
