  1. I am having the same problem. I just started playing again at the beginning of Oct and have had nothing but problems with the game crashing. So after getting really tired of hand holding Skyrim Immersive Creatures (nothing I ever had to do before until this play-through) I removed it and started a fresh install without it. This time around I am crashing any time I try to enter Dustman's Cairn. I did not TES5EDIT Dawnguard twice this time around so I am going to try that and see if it makes a difference. I will let you know if it works. *shrug* UPDATE: Nope did not make a difference. I was reading on another thread that there was a conflict btwn Dawnguard and Dustman's so I guess back to the drawing board.
  2. Having the exact same issue here. I am at a loss as to what could be causing it. I have tried just about everything I can think of, if you figure this out give me a shout please.
  3. Well just uninstalled Dawn of Whiterun and still crash so I do not think it is that unless it is a load order issue. I have run LOOT of course but maybe it has it wrong in the placement.
  4. You can use any ENB with the Injector Version, you just need to use the main files from the Injector folder instead of the Wrapper version. Read the Speed and Stability Guide by tony971 at the bottom of those instructions there is a section on how to use Injector vs. Wrapper.
  5. Actually if you are using Geforce Experience and are on a laptop you will get that error if you are using the Wrapper version of ENB. If you are, then you should be using the Injector version not the Wrapper version of ENB. So it really depends on the setup you have as to which solution you need for your problem.
  6. If I am reading your details correctly I think I understand your problem. I apologize in advance if none of what I mention below addresses your issue but sometimes the setup makes all the difference in the world. First off, when you install SKSE, only put the .dll files and .exe files in the main Skyrim folder (the one with TESV.exe). Then repackage the Data/Scripts (and Source files if you use them) into a zip file and install that through Mod Organizer with the title SKSE - Data. That way your main install drive stays clean but MO will recognize all of the SKSE files. With this setup, you can also create your SKSE.ini in your SKSE - Data folder by creating a SKSE folder in MO/mods/SKSE - Data/. So it would look like MO/mods/SKSE - Data/SKSE/skse.ini Now you will be able to edit your skse.ini through MO and have the changes picked up through MO without any hassle. Now make sure that in the Executables menu within MO that SKSE is pointed to the .exe file within your main Skyrim directory it should look like this: http://wiki.step-project.com/images/6/61/Mod_organizer_skse.png Once SKSE is setup this way, when you want to play Skyrim through MO, you always pick the SKSE from the drop down and run that to initiate Skyrim. Otherwise your SKSE enabled mods will not work properly. ENB files: All ENB files are installed into your main Skyrim folder per the instructions of the ENB Author. Except, any patch files they recommend. Such as, I run Phinix ENB. He has a patch for running his ENB along with recommending Mindflux's ENB patches. I install those through MO. Also any changes to the Skyrim.ini or the SkyrimPrefs.ini are also done through MO. Not through your My Documents/Games/Skyrim folder. Also if you are using NVIDIA through a laptop, remember to use the Injector folder and not the Wrapper folder as the d3d9.dll file provided in the Wrapper version is not compatible with Geforce Experience. With the Injector version you will have to make a shortcut to your ENBInjector.exe file and run that before you click on the SKSE and run your game through MO. Also make sure that you follow the instructions for editing the ENBInjector.ini from The Speed and Stability Guide. CBBE BodySlider and Outfit Studio needs to be setup properly within MO and executed through MO for it to work properly. Here is a video that will help out and also some direct instructions from MO that will help as well. (Just scroll down to the BodySlider and Outfit Studio section) Although I must admit that it still seems a bit buggy so what I have done is just run it outside of MO (according to the CBBE instructions if you are installing directly to /Data folder to get the textures, meshes and any other changes I want and then I cut/paste the files over to my MO CBBE directory per the manual instructions given by CBBE. Frankly I switched over to UNP after all of the Mod Authors started converting all of their armours over to UNP and not CBBE but after my year break I come back and everyone has switched back over to supporting CBBE. It is definitely a popularity game when body textures come into play. As for the textures and meshes showing up after that. You will have to play with the load order on the Left Panel until you get everything the way you want it. I was having a problem with neck seams for the longest time and finally after switching up some load orders in the Left Panel I realized that some body textures have to be below facial textures to get the right combination. Running programs in "Run Administrator" mode. As long as your programs are not installed in the Program Files (x86) directory then you do not need to run them in Administration mode. I was having problems with my ENB files not working because I was running MO in Administration mode. I just got a new laptop and had to put Win 7 Ultimate on it instead of straight Professional and it has been doing some really odd things in comparison. One of them being that when I run MO in Administration mode and launch Skyrim using SKSE through MO it will not recognize my ENBenjector.exe properly. If you are not running any of the above mentioned files from your Program Files (x86) directory, try removing the Run As Administrator option and see if you still have problems with your ENB. The main thing that you have to remember with MO is that you still need to run all of the extra tools directly through MO. ENB, SKSE, LOOT, TES5Edit, and WyreBash are installed into the main Skyrim directory but quite a bit of their instructions where editing skyrim.ini's, patches, etc. still should be installed or edited through MO. Although MO has an integrated LOOT now it is not the latest version so install the updated version in your Skyrim main directory and add LOOT to your list of Executables. Then run it through MO from the dropdown. I know I said this before, but in case it was lost in the sea of text, make sure that your run SKSE THROUGH MO not separately, by selecting SKSE from the drop down and then hit RUN to load your game. Hopefully this helps. If it does not and you are able to get more specific issues after reading this then maybe the answers can get more specific. Good Luck! 7. Bump - This is happening to my husband's playthrough as well. Every thing was working perfectly until he left Eldergleam Sanct. at lvl 19. Now every time he engages in combat at the start of the combat when he initiates the first attack command the game locks up completely for about 2 to 6 seconds. The game has no problems if he becomes aggro, only when he attacks directly for the first time. It is not a random or sporadic occurrence it happens every single time. I am thinking it is a script issue but which one and/or why I have no clue. He is running a modded game using the latest version of Mod Organizer for his mod manager program. He is also using the Memory Patch and Skyrim Stability Guide. He did not add any mods or make any alterations to his game after the initial setup and every thing has been working perfectly until he hit lvl 19 and exited the Eldergleam Sanct. Not sure if that is a coincidence but I thought I would be as specific as possible for troubleshooting purposes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. In response to post #9045795. #9046458, #9048757, #9048873, #9051183, #9054350 are all replies on the same post. You just gave me an idea though... I was looking at some of the modders profiles just now and some of them do not have a "Premium" tag under their name. It would help really active modders to have that faster connection speed. I am going to contact support and see if it is possible to donate a Lifetime Premium member to the modders.
  9. In response to post #9045795. #9046458, #9048757, #9048873, #9051183 are all replies on the same post. I already donate to the modders. But without the site up and running properly it does not really help out the modders either. So that is why a lot of us are asking how we can donate more than we have to the site.
  10. In response to post #9045795. #9046458 is also a reply to the same post. I asked the same thing a couple of posts down but I think it got buried so I would like to jump on your wagon if you do not mind. :D
  11. In response to post #9039058. #9039186 is also a reply to the same post. I completely agree and my post was not meant to sound crass or uncaring of ppl's plights. I was trying to point out that if you are buying extras like a Starbucks or Beer or stuff like that than the Premium Membership prices are on the same price level as that. If you are someone that has to count pennies to the last dime then I was not referring to you. I do apologize if it sounded like I was saying only ppl in third world countries would have money issues. Having lived in several I know that even if you have "money" it does not mean it will feed you. I also know that just because you play video games that requires internet access does not mean that you automatically have extra to spend. You could have it for work and on your down time you enjoy fun on a game. I do not try to assume everyone's situation. What my post was trying to say and obviously it did not say it in a way that everyone understood where my intentions were coming from was that the prices are not astronomical. Sometimes putting the cost of things into perspective so that ppl can relate helps. We all look at every thing differently. Some have the ability see the details of a picture, others only look at the big overall picture and others do not see a picture at all. Explaining things in a different way can help others better understand and that was all I was trying to do here. This topic was only to inform everyone that premium donations were going up a bit. It took a turn that I am sure the site owners did not want it to take but it inevitably goes down that road. I think if we all stand back and take it for what it was intended to do and realize that everything is voluntary and completely affordable in comparison to other "extras" that we buy for enjoyment then a lot of us can help. If you do not buy extras in your life and things are that tight financially then my analogies are not going to help any way it is explained but no one is going to think less of you for it. Again I apologize if anyone that is in real financial straights took what I said in the wrong way.
  12. In response to post #9044697. I make a mean Chocolate No Bake Cookie if you are interested. ;)
  13. In response to post #9041572. #9041696 is also a reply to the same post. Vermis1031 There is a big difference btwn your situation. I did not see you coming on here complaining about the price increase or that you cannot afford anything so the site owners are jerks because they are asking for donations. You know your situation, you kept your situation to yourself and that was that. Obviously by looking at your donator tag you gave what you could when you could so you get what we are saying. I do not think anyone on here is berating honest God ppl that cannot afford to donate or anyone who chooses not to donate and go on their merry little way. Life is what it is and donating is a voluntary thing. The ppl jumping on the bandwagon complaining about a very small price increase to a membership status that is not forced on them in anyway meanwhile complaining because they cannot afford it and Dark0ne should not just keep it at the lvl it has been for a long time but that he should do away with donations or change them so they are almost free too. That is what is making ppl perturbed. You also have to realize that from the past couple of days I can see a huge generational gap here btwn the ppl like myself and others who are like, "If you cannot afford to skip buying a couple of hamburgers to help out with the site then why are you on the internet at all?" and the the ppl that are wanting more for their free ride. Us older players are like anyone else, we love something for free but we also know that free to us means it is costing someone else money. Nothing in life is completely free. Since we know you cannot get money without working for it. (usually) At some point you pay it forward when you can to those that helped you out when you had nothing. The guys that run the Nexus have worked their tails off and put a ton of time into this site for free of charge for years and years now without a paycheck. Not because they see a potential cash cow but because they want to give something back. The ppl that donate are ppl who see the hard work these guys have put into this site. We either know first hand like myself or others who see that doing what the Nexus group does costs a lot of money and very rarely do they ask for help. We appreciate what this site gives out. What the modders on this site do for everyone and the time and effort put into everything. We want to keep that going as long as we can so we donate to the site owners and we donate to the modders as well. I do not buy a lot of games because I am really picky on what I enjoy. So instead of spending $50 bucks every couple of months on a new game I give that money to the modders on here and I give the site owners what I can so I can keep playing the games I already own. To see ppl say on one hand that they have been on here for years downloading mods all day long every day because it is a free service but then on the other they begrudge the site owners for raising the price on the one paid service (donation) on here that is completely voluntary to buy that they have no real intentions of ever buying it because it is too expensive, is completely batshit crazy to me and others. I know what it is like to have nothing, to have a lot and go back to not having anything at all. You adjust to what life throws at you. You make sacrifices until you are in a better situation. But one thing that you do not do is try to keep up the lifestyle you are "accustomed to" by telling everyone else that they have to give you free stuff because you think they can afford to do it or that you are entitled to have everyone give you everything for free. No where has anyone said "If you do not donate you are a piece of garbage." what a lot of us have done is shown ppl that would like to donate but look at the prices as too much is that the donations are not expensive at all if you are already in a position to buy extras in your life. If you are barely paying your rent and cannot afford to feed yourself then donating is not an option for you at all but you do not have to berate the site owners over something you have no way of contributing to in the first place. I hope that explains it a bit better... I know when I respond it is always a book but it usually takes more than a few words to explain things thoroughly. :)
