  1. I am having the same problem. I just started playing again at the beginning of Oct and have had nothing but problems with the game crashing. So after getting really tired of hand holding Skyrim Immersive Creatures (nothing I ever had to do before until this play-through) I removed it and started a fresh install without it. This time around I am crashing any time I try to enter Dustman's Cairn. I did not TES5EDIT Dawnguard twice this time around so I am going to try that and see if it makes a difference. I will let you know if it works. *shrug* UPDATE: Nope did not make a difference. I was reading on another thread that there was a conflict btwn Dawnguard and Dustman's so I guess back to the drawing board.
  2. Having the exact same issue here. I am at a loss as to what could be causing it. I have tried just about everything I can think of, if you figure this out give me a shout please.
  3. Well just uninstalled Dawn of Whiterun and still crash so I do not think it is that unless it is a load order issue. I have run LOOT of course but maybe it has it wrong in the placement.
  4. You can use any ENB with the Injector Version, you just need to use the main files from the Injector folder instead of the Wrapper version. Read the Speed and Stability Guide by tony971 at the bottom of those instructions there is a section on how to use Injector vs. Wrapper.
  5. Actually if you are using Geforce Experience and are on a laptop you will get that error if you are using the Wrapper version of ENB. If you are, then you should be using the Injector version not the Wrapper version of ENB. So it really depends on the setup you have as to which solution you need for your problem.
  6. If I am reading your details correctly I think I understand your problem. I apologize in advance if none of what I mention below addresses your issue but sometimes the setup makes all the difference in the world. First off, when you install SKSE, only put the .dll files and .exe files in the main Skyrim folder (the one with TESV.exe). Then repackage the Data/Scripts (and Source files if you use them) into a zip file and install that through Mod Organizer with the title SKSE - Data. That way your main install drive stays clean but MO will recognize all of the SKSE files. With this setup, you can also create your SKSE.ini in your SKSE - Data folder by creating a SKSE folder in MO/mods/SKSE - Data/. So it would look like MO/mods/SKSE - Data/SKSE/skse.ini Now you will be able to edit your skse.ini through MO and have the changes picked up through MO without any hassle. Now make sure that in the Executables menu within MO that SKSE is pointed to the .exe file within your main Skyrim directory it should look like this: http://wiki.step-project.com/images/6/61/Mod_organizer_skse.png Once SKSE is setup this way, when you want to play Skyrim through MO, you always pick the SKSE from the drop down and run that to initiate Skyrim. Otherwise your SKSE enabled mods will not work properly. ENB files: All ENB files are installed into your main Skyrim folder per the instructions of the ENB Author. Except, any patch files they recommend. Such as, I run Phinix ENB. He has a patch for running his ENB along with recommending Mindflux's ENB patches. I install those through MO. Also any changes to the Skyrim.ini or the SkyrimPrefs.ini are also done through MO. Not through your My Documents/Games/Skyrim folder. Also if you are using NVIDIA through a laptop, remember to use the Injector folder and not the Wrapper folder as the d3d9.dll file provided in the Wrapper version is not compatible with Geforce Experience. With the Injector version you will have to make a shortcut to your ENBInjector.exe file and run that before you click on the SKSE and run your game through MO. Also make sure that you follow the instructions for editing the ENBInjector.ini from The Speed and Stability Guide. CBBE BodySlider and Outfit Studio needs to be setup properly within MO and executed through MO for it to work properly. Here is a video that will help out and also some direct instructions from MO that will help as well. (Just scroll down to the BodySlider and Outfit Studio section) Although I must admit that it still seems a bit buggy so what I have done is just run it outside of MO (according to the CBBE instructions if you are installing directly to /Data folder to get the textures, meshes and any other changes I want and then I cut/paste the files over to my MO CBBE directory per the manual instructions given by CBBE. Frankly I switched over to UNP after all of the Mod Authors started converting all of their armours over to UNP and not CBBE but after my year break I come back and everyone has switched back over to supporting CBBE. It is definitely a popularity game when body textures come into play. As for the textures and meshes showing up after that. You will have to play with the load order on the Left Panel until you get everything the way you want it. I was having a problem with neck seams for the longest time and finally after switching up some load orders in the Left Panel I realized that some body textures have to be below facial textures to get the right combination. Running programs in "Run Administrator" mode. As long as your programs are not installed in the Program Files (x86) directory then you do not need to run them in Administration mode. I was having problems with my ENB files not working because I was running MO in Administration mode. I just got a new laptop and had to put Win 7 Ultimate on it instead of straight Professional and it has been doing some really odd things in comparison. One of them being that when I run MO in Administration mode and launch Skyrim using SKSE through MO it will not recognize my ENBenjector.exe properly. If you are not running any of the above mentioned files from your Program Files (x86) directory, try removing the Run As Administrator option and see if you still have problems with your ENB. The main thing that you have to remember with MO is that you still need to run all of the extra tools directly through MO. ENB, SKSE, LOOT, TES5Edit, and WyreBash are installed into the main Skyrim directory but quite a bit of their instructions where editing skyrim.ini's, patches, etc. still should be installed or edited through MO. Although MO has an integrated LOOT now it is not the latest version so install the updated version in your Skyrim main directory and add LOOT to your list of Executables. Then run it through MO from the dropdown. I know I said this before, but in case it was lost in the sea of text, make sure that your run SKSE THROUGH MO not separately, by selecting SKSE from the drop down and then hit RUN to load your game. Hopefully this helps. If it does not and you are able to get more specific issues after reading this then maybe the answers can get more specific. Good Luck! 7. Bump - This is happening to my husband's playthrough as well. Every thing was working perfectly until he left Eldergleam Sanct. at lvl 19. Now every time he engages in combat at the start of the combat when he initiates the first attack command the game locks up completely for about 2 to 6 seconds. The game has no problems if he becomes aggro, only when he attacks directly for the first time. It is not a random or sporadic occurrence it happens every single time. I am thinking it is a script issue but which one and/or why I have no clue. He is running a modded game using the latest version of Mod Organizer for his mod manager program. He is also using the Memory Patch and Skyrim Stability Guide. He did not add any mods or make any alterations to his game after the initial setup and every thing has been working perfectly until he hit lvl 19 and exited the Eldergleam Sanct. Not sure if that is a coincidence but I thought I would be as specific as possible for troubleshooting purposes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. In response to post #9045795. #9046458, #9048757, #9048873, #9051183, #9054350 are all replies on the same post. You just gave me an idea though... I was looking at some of the modders profiles just now and some of them do not have a "Premium" tag under their name. It would help really active modders to have that faster connection speed. I am going to contact support and see if it is possible to donate a Lifetime Premium member to the modders.
  9. In response to post #9045795. #9046458, #9048757, #9048873, #9051183 are all replies on the same post. I already donate to the modders. But without the site up and running properly it does not really help out the modders either. So that is why a lot of us are asking how we can donate more than we have to the site.
  10. In response to post #9045795. #9046458 is also a reply to the same post. I asked the same thing a couple of posts down but I think it got buried so I would like to jump on your wagon if you do not mind. :D
  11. In response to post #9039058. #9039186 is also a reply to the same post. I completely agree and my post was not meant to sound crass or uncaring of ppl's plights. I was trying to point out that if you are buying extras like a Starbucks or Beer or stuff like that than the Premium Membership prices are on the same price level as that. If you are someone that has to count pennies to the last dime then I was not referring to you. I do apologize if it sounded like I was saying only ppl in third world countries would have money issues. Having lived in several I know that even if you have "money" it does not mean it will feed you. I also know that just because you play video games that requires internet access does not mean that you automatically have extra to spend. You could have it for work and on your down time you enjoy fun on a game. I do not try to assume everyone's situation. What my post was trying to say and obviously it did not say it in a way that everyone understood where my intentions were coming from was that the prices are not astronomical. Sometimes putting the cost of things into perspective so that ppl can relate helps. We all look at every thing differently. Some have the ability see the details of a picture, others only look at the big overall picture and others do not see a picture at all. Explaining things in a different way can help others better understand and that was all I was trying to do here. This topic was only to inform everyone that premium donations were going up a bit. It took a turn that I am sure the site owners did not want it to take but it inevitably goes down that road. I think if we all stand back and take it for what it was intended to do and realize that everything is voluntary and completely affordable in comparison to other "extras" that we buy for enjoyment then a lot of us can help. If you do not buy extras in your life and things are that tight financially then my analogies are not going to help any way it is explained but no one is going to think less of you for it. Again I apologize if anyone that is in real financial straights took what I said in the wrong way.
  12. In response to post #9044697. I make a mean Chocolate No Bake Cookie if you are interested. ;)
  13. In response to post #9041572. #9041696 is also a reply to the same post. Vermis1031 There is a big difference btwn your situation. I did not see you coming on here complaining about the price increase or that you cannot afford anything so the site owners are jerks because they are asking for donations. You know your situation, you kept your situation to yourself and that was that. Obviously by looking at your donator tag you gave what you could when you could so you get what we are saying. I do not think anyone on here is berating honest God ppl that cannot afford to donate or anyone who chooses not to donate and go on their merry little way. Life is what it is and donating is a voluntary thing. The ppl jumping on the bandwagon complaining about a very small price increase to a membership status that is not forced on them in anyway meanwhile complaining because they cannot afford it and Dark0ne should not just keep it at the lvl it has been for a long time but that he should do away with donations or change them so they are almost free too. That is what is making ppl perturbed. You also have to realize that from the past couple of days I can see a huge generational gap here btwn the ppl like myself and others who are like, "If you cannot afford to skip buying a couple of hamburgers to help out with the site then why are you on the internet at all?" and the the ppl that are wanting more for their free ride. Us older players are like anyone else, we love something for free but we also know that free to us means it is costing someone else money. Nothing in life is completely free. Since we know you cannot get money without working for it. (usually) At some point you pay it forward when you can to those that helped you out when you had nothing. The guys that run the Nexus have worked their tails off and put a ton of time into this site for free of charge for years and years now without a paycheck. Not because they see a potential cash cow but because they want to give something back. The ppl that donate are ppl who see the hard work these guys have put into this site. We either know first hand like myself or others who see that doing what the Nexus group does costs a lot of money and very rarely do they ask for help. We appreciate what this site gives out. What the modders on this site do for everyone and the time and effort put into everything. We want to keep that going as long as we can so we donate to the site owners and we donate to the modders as well. I do not buy a lot of games because I am really picky on what I enjoy. So instead of spending $50 bucks every couple of months on a new game I give that money to the modders on here and I give the site owners what I can so I can keep playing the games I already own. To see ppl say on one hand that they have been on here for years downloading mods all day long every day because it is a free service but then on the other they begrudge the site owners for raising the price on the one paid service (donation) on here that is completely voluntary to buy that they have no real intentions of ever buying it because it is too expensive, is completely batshit crazy to me and others. I know what it is like to have nothing, to have a lot and go back to not having anything at all. You adjust to what life throws at you. You make sacrifices until you are in a better situation. But one thing that you do not do is try to keep up the lifestyle you are "accustomed to" by telling everyone else that they have to give you free stuff because you think they can afford to do it or that you are entitled to have everyone give you everything for free. No where has anyone said "If you do not donate you are a piece of garbage." what a lot of us have done is shown ppl that would like to donate but look at the prices as too much is that the donations are not expensive at all if you are already in a position to buy extras in your life. If you are barely paying your rent and cannot afford to feed yourself then donating is not an option for you at all but you do not have to berate the site owners over something you have no way of contributing to in the first place. I hope that explains it a bit better... I know when I respond it is always a book but it usually takes more than a few words to explain things thoroughly. :)
  14. In response to post #9034368. #9035044, #9035560, #9037797, #9039934, #9049335 are all replies on the same post. 99% of the mods I use come from Nexus and a lot of them cannot even be found on Steam. (i.e. one of the best mods ever made Interesting NPCs) Nexus gives a lot more versatility with mods than Steam does and since both are free I choose the Nexus every time. I check mods on Steam as often as I do Nexus but I always come to Nexus afterwards to see if there is a clone over here that I can actually use. I use Mod Organizer for my mod program which allows you to setup up multiple profiles without messing with the base game files and folders. If I want to start a new character I do not have to worry about cleaning out my Skyrim folders for a clean install each time. If I get mods from Steam that is not possible so I avoid using mods from there.
  15. In response to post #9034669. #9036212 is also a reply to the same post. I already do that but I was hoping to help out the Nexus folks more than I have. :)
  16. In response to post #9033473. #9034217, #9034577 are all replies on the same post. I think there is a huge difference btwn ppl who genuinely cannot afford to help out and those that just want to stir the pot for the sake of doing so. Having been a SysAdmin for several forums over the years I can tell you that there are A LOT of griefers that come to the surface once donations are asked for. It can get very frustrating to say the least and while the site owners are always held to a higher standard because they run the site and are providing a service, sometimes it is really hard to deal with these ppl when you know they are only out to discourage ppl from donating and could care less one way or another about whether the site is up or down. They just want to get all they can out of a free ride before it ends. Not everyone who complains is like that but there are a lot that are. It also does not help that text can be taken in any context that someone wants to take it. If you are straight to the point with no BS then some appreciate it but others immediately take it offensively because they want more descriptive fuzzy words. If we always remember to take a step back before jumping to conclusions when dealing with the written word it makes things go a lot better in the end. :)
  17. I do not know if this has been asked before but I looked at the Premium Membership page and did not see an answer for my questions. I bought a Lifetime Premium Membership over a year go but because I use the site so much I was wondering if there was a way to send an added donation. Or perhaps buy a Lifetime Membership and donate it to someone else. Thank you all again for the wonderful service you provide! E.
  18. In response to post #9029004. #9030525, #9030875, #9031377 are all replies on the same post. I can totally understand where Dark0ne is coming from on this. The ppl complaining about the price point of the Premium Membership would complain if it was $1 for a year's subscription. Been there done that many times myself. Ppl want everything free and the second the site owners ask for donations you always get the same response from two groups of ppl. You immediately get the ppl that jump on the bandwagon about how you are asking way too much money and how the owners are being greedy for asking at all. They always have examples of how other websites are run without asking for any money or very little money but have no idea how that site is really making their money. And then you have the few users that do donate but they only do so because they think it will automatically give some sort of say in how the website is run because they donated $5 and now they think they own the website. Steam is able to lower the prices like they do and keep their mod section free because they are selling a buttload of games 24/7, most at retail prices. They have discounted games but not until after they have taken retail pricing from said game from 1000's of ppl first. There is NOTHING on this website that costs a user money. The Premium Memberships are extra perks for a donation amount. It is not forced on anyone. And from my experience, it does not matter how popular a website is, the donations that ppl send in are few and far btwn. But everyone thinks that the owners are making money hand over fist because they assume everyone else is donating except them. These guys are not trying to "make money" so they can sit around the pool, sipping margaritas, surrounded by naked women. They are asking for DONATIONS so that they can keep the site up and running with minimal interruptions or security risks. Big difference. These guys had to invest $187,000 just this year to keep this site up and running. I am sure that some of that money came from donations but I would bet that the majority of it came from side line jobs they do to help with the costs of running this website. You all have admitted that you are long time users of this site. Even if you consider a year a "long time", one Lifetime Premium membership is only $6.58/mo. for that first year and becomes a lot less the longer you have it. Unless you live in a 3rd world country that is not even close to expensive or too much for someone to donate. I can totally see where Dark0ne is coming from by saying what he said because anyone who would complain about the extremely reasonable donation levels he has set is just looking for something to complain about and in reality they have no intention of donating at all. They just want to spout off their opinion in hopes of getting more of a free ride while pretending they care so no one thinks they are a douche. If you do not want to donate ( a term meaning YOUR free choice that is not required at all) because you think it is too much then do not do it. But what is the purpose of letting the world know that you have been using the FREE site for years but a donation amount that is the same price as a hamburger once a month is way too much to ask for?
  19. For what you all provide for all of us on this site I think the Premium Membership prices you have are more than reasonable especially the Lifetime membership. Typically we pay anywhere from $30 to $100 for a really good game. Because of your site I am able to replay those games over and over with entirely new content and play styles that the original developers either could care less about adding to the game or they have given up on creating additional DLCs for said game making it monotonous to keep playing. Because of this site I have been able to keep playing 3 of my all time favourite games literally years after they were first released. To me that is an extremely valuable service that you provide and it is absolutely free to the players. I see ppl slap down anywhere from $100 to $200 for collectors editions or special pre-order editions of games and all they get is maybe 1 or two extra items in the game along with a few cheap collection accessories. But when it is all said and done, most of those ppl will come here after their first play-through looking for mods to make the game re-playable or more enjoyable and never consider donating to you guys because they think $20 is too much to pay for a 6 month Premium Membership. Even the Lifetime Premium Membership at $79.00 is nothing considering how many years ppl have used this site and the content they are able to get from using the site. $79 is only $6.58 a month for one year but it actually gives you unlimited access for the lifetime of this site being up and running. So you are actually paying a whole lot less than that. I do understand that kids cannot easily donate. I know what it is like to be so strapped for cash that I had to live in my truck for almost a year. But now that I am not in that situation and I am able to help out someone who gives me the ability to have hours and hours of fun for free. Anyone not in a situation where it is a choice of feeding yourself or playing a game should really think about donating if they use this site often. $6.58 a month or the other packages rates offered are literally the same or cheaper than buying a Starbucks, or a CarlsJr. Premium Burger or any other little treat you buy yourself that is above paying your bills. It also lasts a lot longer than any of those things so you are getting a lot more for your buck while supporting an amazing website that literally gives you months and years of enjoyment. That's my two cents and hopefully it shows how really inexpensive supporting this site costs in comparison of the fun and joy you obtain for the service they provide on here. E.
  20. Just a little FYI for some ppl who are still getting this error even after trying to the "plugin.txt" fix. I am sure that some ppl that have this problem probably do not have these mods but I spent 2 weeks trying to figure out what was causing this and there is not a lot of info out there about it. Just the same 3 threads all with the same "fix" that is not working for a lot of us. Maybe some ppl having this problem have a similar setup to me. After trying the plugin.txt (ini) issue and not having 2 skyrim.esm entries. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling so many times it is crazy. So I stopped using Mod Organizer and switched to NMM and that made no difference. Then I switched back with a complete clean install of Skyrim, Creative Kit and Mod Organizer and that did not fix it. Eventually I just started going through my mod list deactivating everything one by one. The thing causing this error for me ended up being the Atlas Map Markers with Dragonborn Dawnguard and Blackreach Addons mod. That stopped the Wetriggerscript error but I was still getting a blank screen when I tried to enter Solstheim for the first time. I could hear the dock sounds but was unable to move or see anything. So I went through the mod list again deactivating stuff until I got to the Wet and Cold - Ashes mod and the Get Snowy mod. They were causing me to not be able to see any graphics in Solstheim at all when I first arrived. After I deactivated all three mods Dragonborn is working like a dream. Hopefully putting up the solution that worked for me might help someone else running these mods too.

  22. I am getting the same thing when trying to enter Solstheim for the first time. I cannot even get to the docks because of it. Some ppl say it is caused by NMM but I do not use NMM I use Mod Organizer. I have checked the plugins.txt as suggested and there is no double entry of the Skyrim.esm. I have deleted it anyway and it still does nothing to fix it. I downloaded the Creation Kit and that does nothing. I really wish someone could fix this because I would like to play my Dragonborn DLC.
  23. Having been there done that several times over the years I can totally respect what you are doing. I have always kept my sites away from banner ads, popups, etc. just because customers/users hate them so much. You fore go A TON of money going that route but the integrity of the site should always remain your number priority. It is refreshing to see that I am not the only one with these core values. What happens 99% of the time is if you have a really popular site like this one and you put up a subscription page or a donation page up the users automatically think, "Wow these guys are raking in the dough." Then they either get huffy when things are not working perfectly or they bad mouth you constantly because they think you are cheating the users somehow. The truth is most of the time everyone behind the scenes dance around like it is a holiday and they were just given the Medal of Honour when a donation or subscription comes in because it is THAT rare. The internet is expensive and sites like this suck a ton of money from those that manage them and yet (in most cases when you have ppl like you guys running a site) the admins never complain. They just keep their heads down and pray that it will all work out. I applaud you for not taking the corporate sponsor/investor route. This is your child and it would be like giving visitation rights to a complete stranger and eventually you will have no control over what they want to implement. I gave the Government a ton of money to play around with this year and it is time for them to give it back so once that comes in I will definitely be sending some your way. You all are an inspiration! E.
