I need a female voice for my newly-created female companion but can't figure out how to do this. I can do a text-to-speech for the few lines of dialogue I have given her so far. But how do I get the now saved wav.files (that are currently in the Data-Sound-Voice-FemaleCompanion Folder) into GECK and ultimaely into the Game? I did try to follow a tutorial on dialogue and lip sync but in GECK it Saved the Recordings but Playback or Preview had no Sound. The text-to-speech one did. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thnx for replying. I'm afraid I just don't understand computers enough to figure this out. The part about editor switch is totally new to me. Would you or perhaps someone else plz re-explain/explain how to do this? TY -
When I try to save the new script, it does not show up in that dropdown list. The option to Save current script does show but apparrently it is not Saving it. When I try to move forward to try again, it says close all dialogue boxes before Saving. Only the script pane can be closed but I need that one to stay open. The Cell,Object, and Render panes can't be closed that I see. I also needed to keeep my untitled notepad open too as reference. How does one work around this? Thanks for any help.

Ahh--this is great news, tyvm. I had a bunch of "stuff" in her residence. lol -
I thought I was just sending Wendy back home but I guess I did something different this time. She "doesn't want to talk right now" and I noticed her teleporter is gone from my inventory. Is there a way to get her back,, plz? Thnx

I've been in and out of GNR many, many times.....have buncha gear stored in 2 of their lockers. I went in and came back out later and forget to get a certain item. Tried to go back in and it said door was locked...need a key. Hit the Intercom and guy said..door is open---stop bothering me. Tried door again and it is still locked...Guard said--don't even try that. How do I get back in? Thnx

Jessi companion dialogue stuck

Yes, I had the Version 1.4B. Guess it had been so long trouble-free, I had forgotten about reading of the menu freeze. TY for answering. The openteammatecontainer command didn't work though, however. When tidled and click on Jessi, a Ref ID came up (a number--not her name-despite my efforts of clicking all over her body). Was there a seperate Utilty Mod for making tidle key work? I had to go back to next Save to get her gear off. Anyways, she's working correctly again. Thnx much. -
I've been using Jessi for awhile now and like her very much. I believe this is second time this has happened but don't know just how I got out of it the first time. It happens when I ask Jessi to guard. Then the next time I talk to her...she does the Hail line and all just stops. I go back to my last save and it does it again. Before I try to talk to her...she is still following....still fighting. But now I can't ask her to leave or anything. I can't be stuck with her "all" the time and not have "control" of her--right?? Any1 got a work-thru on this, plz. I wish to keep her. TY Trijj

When trying to exit The Citadel gate (to follow Sentinel Lyons) --error message came up--something like FO3 has encountered a problem and needs to shut down---reloaded and same thing again--and again and again. Sent error message report to Windows--suggested there was a more recent patch and download it. I did that but the download gets to 25% and same message comes up-- the 1.7 exe has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. 1 recommendation from Windows was probable cause was overheating and to check for dust and such and gently clean it up. I did that but still get the error message when trying to download the 1.7 patch. Please advise. Game up to this point has been running quite well. TY Trijj

I did give her 1 piece of armor from another mod I have but she didn't put it on. That's what I am saying...the list of clothing that comes up in her dialogue...they r all there....i say put this on and she nods or makes some comment but never did change into them from the black armor she was wearing from the start. She did put on the power helmet but not the power armor. Do I need that Clothing Shop mod too?? Thnx for helping me out.

Is anyone using/used this Hazel Companion Mod? I get her options to change outfits---get the gestures and dialogue that goes along with that...but :( she never changes her outfit. Did I also need to install that Skinny Clothes Shop and the other Mods he mentioned in the Description? Was under the impression that were all included in this Mod. Any help very much appreciated cuz I think she has potential as a very nice companion:P Thank you. Trijj

Thnx for replying. I have a 64 x2 Dual Core Processor. I'm assuming then it's a 64-bit?? I created a New Shortcut Icon and put in the line u said. Clicked Next and an error message said that extension cannot be found. Maybe I have a 32-bit. Tried entering that line in that box--same error message. And I think Sync mentioned another Mod that allows u to read ur command inputs??

Well, dang it lol...I'm not too computer savy when it comes to stuff like this (obviously) :) I can only do what I am told cuz I don't know how. U say Sync is correct but u say "Not Games" and he says "Games"?? This is exactly what I did....Left click twice--desktop icon My Computer--leftclick twiceC drive--left click twice Program Files--left click twice Dragon Age--left click twice bin_ship--right click daorigins.exe--left click Properties. The only box to type in has daorigins.exe in it. There is no named Target--ie there is no Target name on this box, just the daorigins.exe icon. I tried clearing out the box and typing in "C\Program Files\Dragon Age\bin_ship-enable developerconsole. I got error message saying u can't have " and \ in this box. OK, so I try just typing in -enabledeveloperconsole. I then get message saying changing an extension may cause instability. However, if I right click on the desktop launcher icon, I do get a box named Target but when I type C\Program Files\Draghon Age\bin_ship-enabledeveloperconsole,, I get same u can't have " and \ in this box error. This desktop launcher idea came from a cheat link in the Forum and a guy said it works. I do apologize for being so "lost". I'm just saying to any1 who replies, plz...u gonna have to be very specific. Thnx. Trijj

TY Sync for replying. Actually it says C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\DAOriginsLauncher.exe. Does that matter? Also, that Wiki Link u suggeted seems to have been pulled/deleted??

I'd like more arrows/bolts and saw the Mod "Armmo". I downloaded it a tried to follow the directions. The Tidle Key won't come up. I saw that I also first needed to enable developerconsole (Windows XP). I went into the bin_ship folder as instructed---right clicked Properties on the DA.exe icon but can make no sense of "at the end and the quotation marks type in-enabledeveloperconsole. Saw another approach in a Cheat Section saying to Right-click on the Original StartUp DA Icon--RightClick on Properties--type in the Target Field -enabledeveloperconsole. I did that but when I click Apply it says something like Field Name is not valid. How/What did I do wrong and how do I gain access to this devconsole---ie get a Tidle Key so I can RUNSCRIPT arrows-andraste or bolts or bolts-sureshot and such? Or is there another way to get more arrows/bolts? TY Trijj

My Old Saves still won't show up. When I click Continue or Load...it says No Valid Saves. I was able to Start Another Character and his Loads r Saved. How do I get my Old Saves back? I still have them in the proper folder, plus I made a copy on my desktop. Any help much appreciated. TY

The other option ( from the other poster ) for possibly fixing this problem didn't work for me. I tried ur suggestion and the newly created Save on the New Toon did indeed load. What to do next?

Let's just say....(thinking ahead abit xD) I did the above as u stated...and it does not load....and I uninstall and reload...where would b my Old Saves now? or r they gone forever? Or perhaps, I do as another Poster stated--make a copy of Saves--delete the Save Folder and the .Ini-----create a new toon and let the Game install a new save Folder--put the copy in that Folder. That worked for some but not for others, so I don't know which option is best. Thnx for ur continued support.

I added the .ess to my re-named Saves. Launched the Game and had the Continue/New/Load options. I hit Continue and it said No Valid Saves yet they r right there in the Re-named Folder. Now what?, plz.

After Verifying GameCacheFiles and Renaming My Old Saves...when I started up the Game again, I have no Saves?? How do I get the game to read my Old Saves?

I did that part..this is what I don't understand next.....{I can't find that Steam user directory?? What is this {USERNAME}?? I'm trying not to loose my Saves. TYVM if u know what all this means}.
