Title says it all. I can't be the only one who thinks the Recon scopes just clash too much with the look of most guns. Is it possible to do this without modding tools being out?

My NMM won't work for Skyrim, and only for Skyrim. My other games are working just fine (FNV, FO3). But whenever I try to go into my Skyrim section it just says it's encountered an error and needs to close. This happens even when I run it as an admin. Does anyone know what to do?
