The first game I really recall wanting to play was actually an arcade game. Star Wars.

For me, I still enjoy epic war games. Not those FPS war games, but the large, entire war spanning, control land, sea and air epic games. Those never quite jumped from computer to console well. And many times I enjoy playing on my computer while having my TV on.

I'm amazed at how many still pull out Skyrim to play (which I am too recently). I can't think of many games like that which people are playing years later.
