Quest mods, are often a gamble, personally i don't have any, mainly cuz i wanna finish the actual game first :P SoS - Civilization.esp - it made my game CTD too, altho there is a fix, on the nexus mod page, there are 2 files. the main file, install that normally and then there is a fix file underneath the main, this file has to be installed manually and when you do that your CTDs should go away, i know mine did. i don't know why quest mods do that, must be the way the author decided to make the quest, i have little knowledge of what is wrong, but it seems to happen often with quest mods. they might also conflict with each other, not sure why tho :/ well aslong as the game runs smoothly to you, then I'm happy ^-^ I install quest mods because I have already finnish the game and im bored, so Install quest mods :D anyway thanks man, my game now works :)

Try google "system.outofmemoryexception nexus mod manager" seems a lot of people are having the same problem, something with the 32bit version of NMM. no, you can't simple rename them, you'll have to do it in the creation kit, altho i do not know how... either you don't have enough space on your pc or (maybe) you don't have enough virtual memory, google "virtual memory" to find a guide on how to get more... those this message appear ingame or on the dashboard? this happens when I install mods using NMM(nexus mod manager),, installing mods like Skyrim Monster Mod,. this message appears (A problem occured during install: Exception of type "System.OutOfMemoryException" was thrown. ) So I just install them manually and it worked but cant install it with NMM :(
