  1. Hello Everyone! Today, I'd like to introduce to all of you the Modder's Guild. An educational server for modders and nobody else. Learn from tempered trainers and among kindred spirits. Create mods yourself and/or with a group. Take part in partner or team projects, designed to test and improve your skills. Explore an unrestrained horizon. Your creative potential is limitless. For now, we're teaching writing, 2D art, 3D art, level design, and various implementation. We've collected a humble, yet experienced faculty to learn from. If you're looking to smooth out your skills or perhaps new to modding, look no further than the Guild. If you are looking to join the Modder's Guild as a trainer, then know that you must have either published a mod on Nexus or contributed to a mod project that can vouch for your proficiency. We look forward to seeing you! [DISCORD] And feel free to join even if you're not looking to exactly learn something. It's a Guild. We're here to chill out and have fun for the most part.
  2. Hello! My name is Amicus and I'm the quest writing trainer for the Modder's Guild. We're an upcoming mod skill learning platform that wants to teach people how to mod Skyrim SE, Fallout 4, and, hopefully one day, Starfield. In the end, it's a group of people teaching another group of people what they need to know, so that the community as a whole can benefit from this shared exchange of knowledge and resources. Currently, we have 16 trainers skillful at modding Skyrim, but 0 trainers skilled at modding Fallout. Oof. We are looking for such people. If you find yourself with the time and wish to help would be modders of the Fallout Community become great creators, then feel free to join our number. We simply ask that you provide proof of modding performance. https://discord.gg/c2q8dapQRE
  3. UPDATE We're starting off the new year quite strong! The team is now made up of myself, our star voice actor, 4 2D artists, 3 level designers (one of whom is great at Nav-meshing. Julianos be praised), a consulting architect for special reasons, and one special effects spellcrafter. Right now, we're working on base models for 2 of the 3 dungeons we have while waiting on a new tile set for dungeon 3. 2D is working hard on a variety of new assets to make these new areas stand out and tell a narrative. Archer (The VA) and I are working on brining this grumpy old wizard alive one voiced, implemented line at a time. And someone else is making cookies. Don't know who, but I was promised cookies. We're presently looking for more 2D artists (there's a lot of claims heh) and more spell crafters. We'll take anyone with proven ability and good teammate skills! This may be the last update for this topic. When next you see our project, it'll have a lot to show. Until then, stay safe and play together. Ever Kindly, Amicus.
  4. Potentially! There are many concepts and plans in the works. Many of which will require new VAs, but we won't be looking for new ones anytime soon. Right now, we're looking for 2D artists primarily.
  5. UPDATE We have picked up Deisabri as our new 2D/3D artist! We have also added Tyber, the triangle Navmesh Lord, into the Level Design Fold.
  6. UPDATE We have selected a Voice Actor for Amicus, Master Wizard! Archer will be voicing are delightfully grouchy mage! We are now working on Alpha material.
  7. Sounds awesome! Keep an eye out and we may be working together soon!
  8. UPDATE Our Level Designer is putting Amicus' room in the College of Winterhold together as we speak! May not seem like much, but it makes me giddy with joy lol I will be putting together written dialogue and looking for a potential Voice Actor here soon.
  9. UPDATE We are currently manned by 1 writer (me) and a level designer! We have a full "plan" drafted up for the complete mod and it's public to see in our discord for those interested. I'll break it down simply here though. Basically, the mod is split into 5 parts, each comes with quests and other cool stuff. Each part will be released separately. There are big plans, big goals, and lots of fun ahead of us. I know I'm going to have fun writing all this. XD
  10. Technically, we only NEED one and I'll be on the look out for that one later. I'd like Amicus to have 1 MQ / 5 SQs. Ideally, these side quest would be written by joining writers and each SQ would have it's on apprentice that Amicus looks over in the CoW. Each of those apprentices would need a voice actor. If you're interested, feel free to join our discord. We can always use the help!
  11. Not sure if this goes here, but... Hello humans, I'm a writer for Beyond Skyrim and other projects and I'm here seeking fantastic people willing to work with me in creating a DLC sized follower mod. A mod featuring a unique follower, new areas to explore, new dungeons to dive in, and an engaging story tying it all together. My time is split between the factory floor, family, and Beyond Skyrim and I'm tired of watching these google docs collect dust. Summary: Amicus Mosad is an old mage haunted by his time spent in the Great War and regretful of a life mostly kept in a library or battlefield. Now, as his time on Tamriel starts to come to a close, he is forced to come to terms with his life choices. He will take the Player to new areas in and beyond Skyrim to find closure and peace before the end. I'll welcome: Writers2D & 3D ArtistsComposersLevel DesignersVoice Actorsand, of course, Implementors. If you're interested in accepting this quest, feel free to join this discord: https://discord.gg/nSc9mAd
