I already stated that I took full control over the whole system and its files, in my last reply... Maybe try reading the whole post next time.

Their profile was probably the Admin profile, so now, as a user profile, you need to get permission to do pretty much EVERYTHING on their computer, and not just with Vortex, but EVERYTHING Already made sure that the only profile currently on the system has full admin privileges. Considering that I am able to modify the registry, that should be enough. OK...going out on a limb here, perhaps you need to "take ownership" of the directories, because they're 'owned' by the former user/profile https://www.windowscentral.com/how-take-ownership-files-and-folders-windows-10 Well, that seems to have done SOMETHING to help, but hasn't completely solved the issue. I might just have to brute force it, and give it permission for every single file (Logically, new files shouldn't have the same problem, but I will post something about that if there is a problem). At this point, that might actually have been faster (only since it is taking a while to find a fully functional solution). Ok, seems like it isn't just the mod files that Nexus is having trouble accessing, it also has issues accessing Skyrim itself. And, since this is probably relevant, the game HAS been booted up since making sure my user account has full control over the whole system, so that clearly didn't fix the issue. I also tried having Nexus do a full scan for games again, just in case that was the problem, but no luck there. After a few hours, I decided to try just running Vortex mods in "Shared Mode", but I ran into the exact same problem during the required purge (which even requested permission for files I had already given permission for), and didn't want to sit for multiple hours just clicking dialogue boxes, so until another potential solution is found, I probably won't be using any mods. I will stay subscribed to this thread, just in case someone finds a potential solution to the issue, aside from getting a clean installation of Vortex.

So, to start off, I'll explain the situation: I had been playing Skyrim through the Vortex program, on another person's computer and profile. Due to various reasons, that person gave me their computer, and then removed their profile from that computer. That said, is there a way to give Vortex access to a folder, its subfolders, and individual files, all at once? This is so that I don't have to try and find every mod that I had installed here on NexusMods, and then reinstall them and hope I get the load order correct
