  1. I would like to know too. I have had the problem since last night. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, to no change. I even loaded old saves that are at the end of vault 111 and the game crashes. Did you get any new mods lately?
  2. Thank you for your in put, and I thing mot of you have made a great point to make the overall mod in multiple playable stages. I see it almost as like an episodic tale, kind of like the Telltale games, or Life is strange. For those who might be looking forward to playing, I just want you all to know that I have some great ideas in store for this story.
  3. So I had decided to take a trip down memory past, and stumbled upon one of my favorite childhood game series. "Where in the _______ is Carmen Sandiego" Then I had got to thinking about making a quest/adventure mod once the GECK is released. The plan is a rather large project that would take quite some time and work to complete. But before I get to far into my plans I would like to know if there is enough interest in subject for it to be worth it. The general idea would to start out with the pip-boy being contacted and the player being recruited to ACME Detective agency, not much of the story would take place in the Boston area (this way it doesn't effect other quests) and I would be building other areas from scratch. The quest line would start out as where in the U.S., then move into the world, and lastly my favorite game in the series Time, going back and forth between the present and pre-war. Some of the thefts would be of lore, such as the first power armor prototype, thus causing much more of a loss during the war due to it taking longer to come out with what they wear in 2277. Others would be things like the TARDIS, this would be where Carmen goes through time, which one could argue is still lore friendly (TARDIS cameo in past games). The travel would be done via the airport which I would rebuild, and a cronoscimer. While on the chase each theft would lead to a different puny henchman of the crimson thief, leading up to the grand finale of catching Carmen Sandiego who has stolen the most dangerous thing she could to keep the main protagonist from being able to chase her in the first place. Like I already stated the mod would be huge and I would be looking for voice actors for I don't want this to just be silent, though I will if I have to. And I would always be open to ideas of other things to be stolen. This would bring the gritty mature atmosphere to that is Fallout to Carmen Sandiego. If you would be interested in playing it or wish to voice your opinion please let me know either here or via pm.
  4. True, that is something that I never thought of. I rarely ever use console commands.
  5. Personally I don't mind the wait, I mean I can't sleep, I just roll around counting down the minutes. But so long as I get the game on time when I was told it would be available for me, then I'm happy. I am actually happy to know that it is coming out in other places because this way you know there wont be a delay.
  6. To be honest, aside for the leaks online, The sales of the game isn't much for Bethesda to concern themselves about at this point. What's done is done, and it can't be undone. Sometimes people get their deliveries early, other times due to different laws a game store might sell the games early, I guarantee you that the copies of the game are sitting in the back room of gamestop right now. This must be torture for those working there that have the box staring them in the face. I truly don't care if someone half way around the world is already playing the game. I knew that I would have to wait for tomorrow at midnight, and I am still going to. I rather not wait, but I will if I must.
  7. I am a huge fan of mods, and we all know what some of the first ones that are going to come out are. Graphics, skins, and later on different fandoms. I love Fallout Who, and it is the mod that I ever got for Fallout 3, and now I couldn't imagine these games without mods. How ever, Bethesda has already announced that the mods containing nudity and trade marked licenses, such as many of the skins and the mods like Fallout Who, will not be allowed to port onto console, due to liability reasons. Now, with this being said, I doubt they will host these mods on Bethesda.net, and I may be completely wrong, but they will probably be allowing this on third party sites, because... you can't really stop it, if they even tried well huge backlash out from all of us.
  8. It is truly simalar to that seen in APB Reloaded, for anyone who has played that. Personally I like it this way, it feels more like true creation, rather that just a bunch of preset features.
  9. I defiantly would like to see this mod as well, but if I may throw my thought in. Personally I loved the Hardcore mode, and the bettering mods for NV, but the one thing that truly kept me from playing the entire duration of my play through was my companions would die, now I could just load up a save, but if I survived I didn't want to have to erase the last hour of play just so I could revive my companion. While some may want that, I know a few who don't so if someone is to make it might I make a suggestion that companion deaths be optional for the players.
  10. I feel like I agree with most of those who have posted here. Truly if someone or something can differ between wright and wrong and can make the choice of either or, along with feeling empathy then It should be seen as a sentient being. and therefore given the rights as such. P.S. love the star trek clip, defiantly helps put some things into perspective.
  11. Just imagine the Experimental MRV with this new modding system. 'Compensated Experimental MRV Rifle'
