Is there a way to make Script Merger load faster / parse scripts quicker? -

Where to find lost mods?
Deleted4610270User posted a topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
I'm trying to find some mods that no longer exist on Nexus forums. There were 2 eye mods before - Common Eyes, and another one called Realistic Eyes, I think. Realistic Eyes were 2K textures. Anyone got link to those? -
Light source shadow flicker fixed?
Deleted4610270User replied to Deleted4610270User's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yeah, this makes no sense because Skyrim SE is based off Fallout 4 engine and the issue IS fixed in Fallout 4... -
I lost ALL TW3-related content I worked on a while back and hoping I can recover some of it, particularly the unofficial mods people may have uploaded, most importantly modSmoothFX, the AIO WIP compilation (contained epic number of edited meshes), the combined More Shadows with extra shadows + extended FX view distances, pretty much anything else I modded. I'd appreciate any links to those mods (over PM if necessary). I think some of it was uploaded to Discord, but I don't know where.

The original Skyrim had a bug that caused shadows to flicker, appear/disappear because there was a limit as to how many light sources canm be seen at the same time. I don't remember if that had something to do with ENB, but what I want to know is whether this has been fidxed in Skyrim SE? It was a major immersion killer for me. Skyrim SE was built on Fallout 4 edition of Gambro engine and Fallout 4 didn't have such fliklering with mods that enable dynamic shadows.

Fallout 4 has some awesome mods for lighting that enable shadow casting from many interior and exterior light sources. Does something like that exist for Fallout New Vegas? If not, is it possible to create such a mod? I would be up for learning how. I already modded The Witcher 3, but the tools for that game were awful. Modding tools for this game should be significantly better. I don't know programming, so I would be worthless in scripting, but I am certain some tools simply require understanding and tedious hard work. I also heard that New Vegas is being ported onto Fallout 4 engine. How is the progress of that? I bet dynamic shadows could be added as part of development progress.

I decided to give F4 another try after upgrading my rig, but I can't seem to load both plugin mods and loose file mods at the same time. If I select/tick all listed plugin mods in Main Menu Mods section, then loose-file-only mods, such as Vivid Landscape (Textures folder), do not load. If I reset everything, then, as a default, some of the plugin mods in Main Menu Mods section are not selected/ticked (yet others are), in which case loose-file-only mods like Vivid Landscape, do load, but Enhanced Metal Crates / Luxor8071's HD Texture Pack plugin mods don't... I already created Fallout4Custom.ini with: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= My DLCList.txt content (direct copy/paste): DLCCoast.esm DLCNukaWorld.esm DLCRobot.esm DLCUltraHighResolution.esm DLCworkshop01.esm DLCworkshop02.esm DLCworkshop03.esm Dynamic Lights and shadows Overhaul.esp Enhanced Metal Crates.esp FO4 Landscape Overhaul.esp HDReworkedProjectRevised.esp Interior - Buildings and Industrial HD.esp Luxor8071's HD Texture Pack AIO Pt1.esp Luxor8071's HD Texture Pack AIO Pt2.esp PA-Skins.esp Project Reality Footsteps FO4.esp The Eyes of Beauty Looking Stranger.esp The Eyes Of Beauty.esp UltraInteriorLighting.esp Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp ValiusHDTextures4K.esp VUWR.esp My Plugins.txt content (direct copy/paste): *Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp *HDReworkedProjectRevised.esp *The Eyes of Beauty Looking Stranger.esp *The Eyes Of Beauty.esp *UltraInteriorLighting.esp *Interior - Buildings and Industrial HD.esp *Project Reality Footsteps FO4.esp *Dynamic Lights and shadows Overhaul.esp *PA-Skins.esp *VUWR.esp Last time I played the game was back when it was just released and I don't remember there being DLCList.txt, only Plugins.txt. - What's the difference between the two? - How can I make both plugin-based and loose-file-based mods work together? - Can loose file mods and plugin mods over-write each other? If so, which ones get priority? - How can I change load order of loose-file-only mods? - What is the purpose of the Mods subdirectory in F4 game directory? AFAIK, mods go into Data subdirectory, not Mods subdirectory...

K, I was reading descriptions of those mods and you got me excited. I come from The Witcher 3 modding community, to which I contributed. TW3 was the first game for which I created and officially released mods, but TW3 modding tools were terrible and I beat the game far too many times to ever beat it again. I never beat F4 because it became too easy. I really enjoyed making visual effects/FX/particles mods for light sources (fire, embers, smoke), weather (fog, clouds, snow, rain), blood, and special meshes (like rivers). Are there modding tools for that in F4? I don't know scripting at all... I might get into F4 mod-making, but for now I want to mod the game with existing mods. For Skyrim, there used to be an All-In-One modding guide that guided readers on how to set the whole thing up. Is there one for Fallout 4? An Up-top-date guide would be greatly appreciated! I also want to beef up F4 graphics, but I recall my earlier attempts, where texture mods were incompatible because some mods only modified diffuse textures, while others modified diffuse, normal, and specular textures. You could end up with a combination of mods where modded diffuse textures did not match modded normal textures, and etc. I remember having to inspect each DDS file to make sure it all textures matched each hother accurately. Anmother issue I experienced with TW3 modding was that some of the best mods were extremely old and by then there were better ones, yet less popular due to young age. Perhaps there is a thread dedicated to people listing combination of mods?

Every year or so since release of Fallout 4, I come here and ask whether any mods have fixed F4 gameplay. I stopped playing when I became God-like with numerous mods that added extra difficulty, etc. It didn't matter. I wasn't even that high level-wise, but nothing could stop me. Do any mods address that? I want some proper RPG experience, like in Fallout New Vegas. I wish New Vegas could be ported onto F4 engine

I tried to play this game once, but some things bothered me: - Not having much problem with a loud Rambo massacring all without being hit for a game, where I expected stealth to be crucial to win - Limited silencers - Limited vision for enemies I remember there was a mod that made the game more difficult, removed silencer destruction and increase view distance for enemies. Which one was it? Is there a SnakeBite-compatible oneE? There are some other things that make me want to just remove the game: - Having to do same missions again due to all objectives unlocking only after completing the mission - Some info that there are 2 parts of the game, where the second part you keep re-doing missions you've already done - Some Quiet-related death\preservation bug and mission unlocking stuff Are there some mods that unlock all objects? I like the unique missions most of all - with skulls and all the sci-fi characters, cut-scenes, etc.

I am going back to relive ME1, 2, and 3, but this time on PC with good hardware and mods. There are a ton of mods with HD content, but is there an overall guide that puts best of the best mods together? I am mostly after graphics and so far downloaded: ALOT MEUITM HD Hair Bun Controller support (for Xbox 1 controller? or PS4?) Faster elevators Skip To Main Menu What else do I need?
