  2. I can't personally myself do it, but I would imagine by using chesko's campfire/frostfalls positioning framework it would be doable.
  3. Thanks for the answers FiftyTifty, you say that vanilla Skyrim has 700 NPCs having their AI done in the background of the game. Do you know anywhere I can read more about this. So a city of 300 where only 10-40 NPC is present in the same scene at once won't be too much?
  4. Hi there. I wanted to know if somebody had an estimate of how big a city it would be possible to make in Skyrim. I am thinking what would the NPC limit be, of course it depends on the computer, but I have heard that Skyrim doesn't handle a vast number of NPCs very well due to the advanced AI applied to each NPC. I read this short article: https://www.vg247.com/2014/01/20/skyrim-memory-tweak-allows-for-300-npc-battles-better-mod-support/ which declared that it is now possible to have 300+ NPC battle each other at one time, due to a memory tweak. Would Skyrims engine on a fairly powerful pc be able to handle a city of 200-300 inhabitants? The city would be located in its own worldspace seperate from Skyrim, but in a worldspace with forrest, mountains, farms and wildlife outside the city. Basicly a whole new game section, think Wyrmstooth with a very big city placed directly into the world. For reference I quickly made a very very crude design of city the size I am thinking of.   6. Have you looked at reqiuem? It is a mod that basicly descales Skyrim so the mobs don't level with you, this of course close of areas for your character to begin with, but a very popular mod.
  7. Your best bet would probably be to pitch your idea to the creator of Socko's Guild starter http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52871/? It is often easier to expand upon work already made.
  8. There is already a lot of great projects looking for able contributors, ex: Beyond Skyrim. But they need modders with either experience or modders who are willing to learn the creation kit. Scripters are always in great demand. You can find a lot of project at www.darkcreations.com It would also help if you were more specific as to what it is you can contribute with. If you apply for membership of the projects hosted at darkcreations, you should show some of your previous work, that includes if you are a voice actor or a writer, which is what I understand you are from your post.   9. Hi there I am looking for help how to make custom arrows silent in the creation kit. The arrows I want to be silent are the water arrow and the rope arrow from the mod "sneak tools"
  10. Sorry for double posting, I made a mistake and posted it in the mod request forum first. Hi there I have for quite some time been thinking about making a whole set of new stealth/sneak levels for the game. I found the levels in the thieves guild questline lackluster and in many cases it could have been in the companions guild questline. What do I need?: I need help designing the layouts of these new dungeons/levels, I can make them myself in the creation kit, but it would be nice getting help designing them. I want them to be advanced and with different ways to get to the goal. These locations will be filled with city guards or something similiar so if you get caught or commit murder you will get a bounty. Here is a list of the mods I would like to incorporate or have my mod be depended on, if the mod authors will grant me permission of course: Sneak Tools (rope arrow, water arrow and noise arrow being the most usefull) Stealth Skills rebalanced Traps makes noise Dynamic torches I have a whole list of different locations I can think of to add these new levels: All temples are possibilites Every Jarl should have a tresure chamber Some forts or perhaps castle dour should have a treasure chamber with funds essential for the war effort. Perhaps some recipe for the black briar mead is kept secured in the meadery. The treasury house in Markarth (Silver bloods) Something related to the Battle Borns The Guilds might have valuable items especially the College could be interesting. The trading companies of Skyrim in Solitude and Windhelm Here are some of the things I have thought of incorporating: Escape tunnels (could be a secret entrance) Routes that requires good lockpicking or pickpocketing keys. Water filled areas (good for argonians or water breathing spells/potions) Secret passage ways (might be so in palace of kings - windhelm) Use of diversions, activate trap/trigger/lever Bribe your way into somewhere Places only accesable by rope arrows. Or just sneak around the guards. Ideas and questions should be lore friendly. If you believe you can help feel free to respond or pm me. Thanks in advance
