  1. I've tried using Outfit Studio as a converter but it seems to categorize the nif as armor, maybe not, I'm not absolutely sure what I'm doing with it, but even though I follow the instructions on the tutorial videos that Outfit Studio provides, and added all the necessary references to the file in Nifskope, when I try to spawn the weapon in game the windows closes instantly, no non responsiveness, no warning. Any custom weapon mods I've seen either don't state which programs they've used and keep it as a close guarded secret, OR they say they used 3DS max, and I'm not in the spirit of providing content to people using pirated software. I'll update the OP to tell anyone what I find out if someone finds this later on. EDIT: 2/3/2016 I've finally figured out how to convert mods to Fallout 4 nifs without using 3DS Max, or first making them into Fallout NV/Skyrim Nifs, converting them straight to FO4NIF using outfit studio! This works with blender, as well as maya https://www.youtube....h?v=ppTXCJ0SZ88 This video will walk you through doing this
  2. Doesn't look like this is doable right now with the tools we have, attackspeed variables in the weapon mods aren't changeable.. You may have to wait a week or so while the guys that are creating FO4Edit iron out the kinks.
  3. I created a two handed sword mod, http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3939/? and when you hold the sword, your hands are on the upper part of the handle and the blade, but when you're in third person both the hands are on the handle. Any idea of what could be causing this? I assumed it was something to do with the Keywords on the sword, but I don't see anything to do with first person. These are the keywords I have: http://i.imgur.com/UmDmo27.png?1 Any ideas? EDIT: I have noticed that when swinging the sword the hands go to where they should be, but upon entering the standing position they go back to the way they were. It looks to me that it's because the character holds the hilt of the super sledge very high when not swinging, and when swinging he lets it go out further, and that's just the way the animations work. The Super Sledge is the animation I used to create this weapon, so unless there's another two handed animation, there may be no way around this until someone creates a new 2h weapon animation for us to use! Darn.
  5. Did you install with NMM? I remember this mod having issues if you don't install manually. Also some of the armors require DLC, so if you don't have all of them in official form, that will probably cause issues. If you installed with a mod manager, check out the readme in the mod file, because the mod maker is silly and didn't put install instructions in the mod description.
  6. So I've been playing around with my loaded mods, and this problem seems to be linked to a group of mods, if I have any of these mods enabled it crashes my game when I get anywhere near a dragur. This group of mods is: Sounds of Skyrim, including Civilization, Caves, and Wilds, Enhanced Lights and FX and Climates of Tamriel, also a patch for Enhanced Lights and FX/SoS to work properly with Climates of Tamriel like you said earlier Georgie, the problem may have been laying in the fact that SoS was a steam version, so I went ahead and deleted those from my steam workshop downloads along with every other workshop mod I had active. I attempted to re install Climates of Tamriel fresh to ensure a patch wasn't the culprit due to file overwrites and left SoS deactivated, since I've had issues with it since day 1 but crashes persisted, so something in my game seems to disagree with Climates of Tamriel in particular. Perhaps one of my other mods is changing sounds without me knowing. I decided to keep the mods deactivated, proceeded to verify integrity on steam, ran BOSS and TESV Edit again, rebuilt my bashed patch, saved, closed, saved, closed, cleaned scripts using a Save game cleaner, and the game seems to be working now.
  7. See, I've already tried all of this, reverting to vanilla, I have used boss/wrye bash/tesv edit/ishara's autosaves since day one after the reset and things were fine until this save. There must be something going on here causing dragur to hate my game other than a lingering save.
  8. So I got about half way through bleakfalls barrow, had no issues with crashing, then I got into the second half of the dungeon with all the fire pots and the oil on the ground and it's just consistently crashing. I save, and it crashes immediately. I tried running Skyrim Performance Manager and I went nowhere near any performance limits, my papyrus log is ridiculous.. I'm new to papyrus logs, but I've been having this issue for 3 hours now, trying to fix it by myself isn't working, and I have no idea where to start with this log. Keep in mind this is over the span of like 10 seconds, and there's a crazy amount of s#*! going on there. Any ideas on what I could do here?
  9. Ah, thanks for the help, I'll give it a go, but I found YouTube to be largely unhelpful with my problem, that's where I've been looking to for help up until now. And yeah, I feel bad constantly bumping ><
  10. Hey everyone, I'm working on my first mod which is going to be a little fort and a dungeon off the side of Throat of the World. My problem is it's always snowing where I've built my fort, and I'd like to give the fort the illusion that it's snowing everywhere around the fort, but not on the inside. Is there any way to do that? If not, is there a way to just set weather to clear in certain areas? This is my first post on the forum, so thank all of you in advance for answering. EDIT: Apparently it's not my first post, it says I have 27 total.
