  1. I've watched this video, but there seems to be something I'm not doing correctly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd074E-6RMM
  2. Anybody want to give me a 'Modding for beginners' guide to doing this correctly? I download them manually and then extract them to the Modules folder. The current Mod Order I have is this: Native Sandbox Core (e1.3.1.228624) Custom Battle (e1.3.1.228624) Sandbox (e1.3.1.228624) StoryMode (e1.3.1.228624) AttributePerLevel (v0.1.1.228624) Banner Peasants 20M (v2.2.0.228624) Character Trainer (v1.0.12.228624) Fire Lord (v1.0.0.228624) MBFastDialogue (v2.4.0.228624) ModLib (v1.3.4.228624) Noble Nobles (v1.5.0.228624) Party Screen Enhancements (v1.5.1.228624) Recruitable (v1.0.2.228624) Xorberax's Cut Through Everyone (v0.3.1.228624) Bannerlord Tweaks (v1.4.0.228624)
  3. And sorry if this is an easy question. I'm extremely new to modding games on PC. I've always been an Xbox guy.
  4. Hey guys, I just recently came back to Skyrim. I played year ago, and then dabbled with it on the Xbox again when SE came out. I have since bought a new computer and figured I'd see what I could make Skyrim look like on PC with the all the mods. I realize now I probably should have just bought the regular version of Skyrim instead of SE because there are so many more mods available there. Anyway that's a different issue, the Youtuber Ultimate Immersion has some great reviews and tutorials on how to make the environment look amazing. I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions on load orders for character mods or mods that change NPC appearance. I'd like the NPC's to look great but have as much variety as possible. I've added weapon mods, armor mods, and clothing mods, & cloak mods. What I probably need the most help with is what to do about the character models in the game. So here are some mods that I've downloaded that I may need help with the order and maybe your input on what may be in conflict with one another. Ashara SSE Skyrim Characters as Presets Better Male Presets SSE ApachiiSky Hair SSE KS Hairdos SSE Total Character Makeover Beards 4K Improved Eyes Skyrim Fangs and Eyes - A Vampire Appearance Mod Eye Normal Map Fix SSE Seductive Lips HD SSE UNP Blessed Body Diverse Skyrim SSE RSS Chiildren Overhaul Then I've got a few companion mods: INIGO Sofia Superb Serana Anyway, can somebody help me by explaining what the best load order for the mods above would be? I'm worried about getting Rainbow Face, Black Face, or just totally overwriting something and making a mod ineffective. I know I could probably just pick a handful of mods like Total Character Makeover and Diverse Skyrim and that would do the trick, but I'd like as many options available for the characters to have as much variety as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have other mod suggestions then I'd be glad to hear. Thank you.
  5. I hope I don't miss anything. Here's the current Load order that LOOT set me up with (I'm only going to list the ones I think change hair or body, unless you guys suggest I show the rest). Looks Menu Customization Compendium THBrows CBBE KSHairdos AzarPonytailHairstyles BetterSettlersCCAPack2.0 Lots More Facial Hair Lots More Female Hairstyles Better Settlers LooksMenu
  6. Hey guys, I was able to get past my earlier issues, but now I'm having one thing that's bugging me. I went to create my character, and I wasn't able to change his hair style (head or face) or eyes at all. I have a few different mods. I'll list them below. I have the Looks Menu, and when I click on his hair it just says 'HAIR' (yes, in all caps like that - unlike every other option) and doesn't allow me to dig down the different hair styles when I click on it. I can't change the facial hair or eyes either. Here's a list of my mods that may mess with character creation. Commonwealth Cuts 2.4 - KS Hairdos - ApachiiSky Hair Lots More Facial Hair v 1.21 Lots More Female Hairstyles v 1.33 Lots Moore Male Hairstyles v 1.21 Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar v 2.5a Oni face re-texture THBrows The Eyes of Beauty Fallout Edition Valkyr Female Face and Body Textures Eye Normal Map Fix 1b Looks Menu Customization Compendium *** As a side note, I was able to see the different hair styles when I had all these mods installed and the game was extremely buggy. So I need to figure out what I need to do to fix this. I'd like to be able to change how the player looks from time to time. And I really hope this doesn't mess with settler hair styles as more variety was one of the main reasons for loading all of these.
  7. Nevermind guys, I got most of this stuff figured out. I uninstalled about 3 times, and that's pretty much worthless. I disabled a large number of mods. I kept a lot of the visuals and texture mods, but disabled all settlement crafting and player home mods. I'm not sure if that's it, or if it was my load order. The game doesn't appear to be buggy, and it looks amazing on the computer when compared to the Xbox. I do have one single issue, but I'll make a new thread for that.
  8. Hey guys, I'm new to Fallout on the PC. I've played quite a bit on Xbox, but I wanted to see how much better I could make it look on my new PC. Anyway, I downloaded Nexus Mod Manager and downloaded quite a few mods for it. I followed a lot of the videos Gopher has posted on YouTube to try to make sure I did things correctly. It turns out I definitely had some issues, so I decided to uninstall the game. I then reinstalled the game only to find out that all of the mods are still in NMM, and they all still showed the green check mark. I wanted to start over from scratch and slowly add mods to the game, but uninstalling and reinstalling didn't take care of that problem. What is the best approach? Should I disable or uninstall all mods? Is it possible that I've already overwritten any base game files through NMM? Or am I safe if I've used NMM? Just as a side note, I installed quite a few mods for settlement building, settler & NPC appearance, clothing and armor. In my Xbox play through, I noticed I kept getting settlers and settlements that all looked too much alike. Anyway, I noticed an issue right away when the Presets were buggy when doing the character appearance at the start of the game. Then When I rant to the Vault for the bomb, the elevator would go down right after the bomb went off. It then cuts to a inside the vault and the elevator would be down, but my characters would be floating as if the elevator. Then I had an issue where Kellogg wouldn't even appear when I was in cryo. So then I decided I'd uninstall all mods and go step by step. What's the best way to start fresh? What should I do? Uninstall all mods though NMM from all profiles? Just disable all of them? Is there something else I need to do manually? I could use some help here, and anything would be much appreciated.
