In all my playthroughs it seems the greybeards always point my to a dark path, I think they want you to kill the emperor. I could be wrong but damn those guys are strange. They would rather the world end then for you to defeat Alduin. And do they ever refer to Talos as a deity? I think they only see him as an emperor. Correct me if I'm wrong.

There's a lot of stuff that didn't make it into game but if you check out "cutting room floor" it adds some stuff back. Some quests can't be expanded on due to various reasons.

There was a long time ago a batch file that made illusion insanely powerful, can't find it and forgot the command to modify power of illusion ( something like illusion powermod 300) I forget. Yeah it's not a mod per se but what is the formula, google isn't any help. I just want it for pissing around

I haven't done that quest in years. Is that the one where the Hag is holding a bandit hostage if I remember right he was naked when i did the quest too, but it's been so long I'll check it out

I'm mostly using texture mods, what I was doing was I saw some Vigilants battling a couple wolves near Dawnstar, and I thought I'd help them out and used Kyne's peace and they went apeshit lol, no idea why. As far as Talsgar the wanderer (what ever his name is) it's random for me I mean the guy uses alteration magic himself. May be just a Skyrim bugging out deal I dunno :p

Yeah it's really weird. another strange thing is try casting magelight at that traveling bard (whatever his name is) he attacks saying "by Ysmir you'll pay for that" and I proceed to kill him lol. Try either of those and let me know what happens if you get a chance. The mod is Improved dragon shouts btw

Why do the Vigilants of Stendarr always attack me when i use Kyne's peace? Have never figured that out. Edit: It's not just the Vigalants others have attacked me as well. Is this shout considered evil or what? lmao Only thing I can think is I'm using enhanced dragon shouts, other than that I have no f***ing clue.

I had a 670 and just bought a 980 (this is preliminary) but I see a huge difference in everything i.e. distant terraine if you can afford it I'd go for the 980 card over the 970. I've only had it a day but so far it's doubled my score on furmark test.

Yeah my thoughts exactly on the drivers which is why I'm hesitant with it on Skyrim (as an example). Not sure what I'm going to do yet , but have grace 2 weeks on return. Just afraid of the lastest drivers. As for Nvidia experience I normally don't install anything but the driver and core stuff. Might just buy the 980, thanks again for the help bro

Forgot to mention that I have the gtx 670 for the past 2 years , it's an Asus, sorry about that was in a hurry. The card I bought was just a store walk-in decision got it at Best Buy (don't laugh ha). Anyway the exact card is EVGA GTX 970 SSC w/ ACX 2.0. (Part Number:04G-P4-3979-KB) I don't usually shop @ best buy but since I have 2 weeks to return I'd buy it and ask around here, thanks for the response. my current pc isn't a beast just adequate i5-3570k 3.4 ghz (not OC'd) 8 gigs ram at the time the 670/680 cards were good. Seems the 970 with dx9 games like Skyrim have issues from what little info i've seen so far, I'm not sure.

Already bought the card but have heard mixed things about it. Haven't installed it, wanted some opinions. Heard of stutter problems in Skyrim. Thoughts, suggestions? Debating on taking it back.

I've had it also using a controller, most likely it's the thieves guild entrance (the grate) doing it somehow only thing I can figure out. It never used to happen..that I do know.
