  1. Thanks for the info. I did that but it only effect searches, which to be honest I'm not really concerned with. Really all I'm looking for is a way to avoid seeing nudity in the hot files since those images are so large, front, and center. The latest files images are small enough and obviously if I click on an adult mod I'm expecting to see images of it on the actual mod page.
  2. Is there a filter to only remove nude images but still see and access the mods in searches, latest files, etc.? All I can find is an adult filter that removes access to both. I don't mind the mods and like to see everything uploaded, but like many others what I don't like is loading the main page and seeing a giant vagina in the hot files. TIA. EDIT: While I know it is too much to ask for adult content creators to cease using nude images for their default or for moderators to spend so much time doing it for them, how about the Nexus adds a second adult filter that only removes the images from adult mods? This way we can avoid the nudity flooding the front page, but still see what is hitting the hot files.
  3. Haven't messed with the rest but the new search results are a very, very welcome change. My biggest frustration since the site redesign was the lack of visible results from searches. Being able to see more than 3 results at one time without scrolling makes me very happy. :)
  4. Glad I had a fresh cup of coffee before sitting down to this one. :) Many thanks as always for keeping us up-to-date. It's good to know you can add a nexus so easily but also refreshing to hear your humble expansion plans so things don't get bloated. Keep up the great work!
  5. This is amazing news. Job very well done Dark0ne! It's great to see the Nexus continue to grow in these ways.
  6. My unique download count tripled sometime over the weekend for my mod Camp Golf Harbor. As much as I wish it were real, it went from roughly 360 to nearly 1,100 despite the files themselves showing no increase in downloads. Now, if I can get added to the special forums for modders with more than 1,000 unique D/Ls before this gets fixed, that would be great. ;)
  7. Just a minor language bug, but when using the word "circumvent" on a post recently, it blocked the c-u-m. :)
  8. @Quetzlsacatanango - As the great American poet Axl Rose once said "All you need is just a little patience" ;) @ziitch - Why not just ignore the Origin titles? I love GOG. I've picked up quite a few old titles that I still have disk copies of buried somewhere in a closet. Just the fact they are all setup to work on Windows 7 makes it worth it. Unfortunately I can't take advantage of this deal as I already paid a whopping $6 for Fallout 1 & 2 on GOG about a year ago when they had them both on sale. :)
  9. Thanks for the post Dark0ne. I picked up a copy. I've never played this series but always wanted to try it out. Perfect timing with the nexus launch.
  10. One Nexus to rule them all, One Nexus to find them, One Nexus to bring them all and in the Dark0ne bind them. Major congrats on yet another fantastic addition.
  11. @uallera666 - Dark0ne may say otherwise, but I think the fixed width was arguably the most disputed part of the new site design. I certainly voiced my reservations although I guess I've gotten used to it over time (going from seeing 12-14 search results on screen to only 3 is still frustrating). Still, when I look at the Nexus from work at 1440x900, and it looks fantastic, then I go home and view it at 1920x1080 and half my screen is wasted, it is still a little off putting. That being said, I don't believe there are any plans to adjust it and they did add the "themes" that make the wasted space much prettier. :) I'll also add, since I do admit to being among the minions who raised a stink about the fixed width at release, that since then I've noticed the majority of sites on the web are fixed width, or at least the ones I use. It makes the coders job far easier I guess, so it's something those of us spoiled enough to have large monitors at high resolutions will simply have to live with.
  12. Congrats on getting the new code into beta! I'm excited to mess around with it. @trekkie107 - I know what you're saying but ploading pics is up to the mod author and a requirement that every mod needs a picture would be over the top. Some mods make changes that can't be expressed visually.
  13. Very happy about this. I haven't played Warband in awhile but I'm anxious to get back into it now. Great addition Dark0ne!
  14. I really hope the team continues to work on this despite the ban. RTS is one of my favorite FO3/FNV mods and I'd like to create a good settlement building area like I did for FNV. Hopefully the ban doesn't break their spirits. The Nexus isn't a democracy and the moderators have a tendency to remind everyone quite often how willing they are to swing their ban hammer. However, the author of the most popular weather mod for FNV was also banned but continued his work and gave another user permission to upload it to the Nexus. It is still the 8th most endorsed mod for FNV so don't lose hope. The moderators can't keep a good mod down. :)
  15. Some of the following may be just me talking out of my rear but this is what I know about it... :) That is called "LOD", or "level of detail" I believe. It's what you see when you are looking at objects or terrain in the distance so that you don't have to load the full detailed textures and meshes. Unfortunately, there is no way to get rid of it that I know of. From what I understand the terrain LOD, which is what your screenshots show, is created by a supercomputer and takes a lot of time and it isn't something you can recreate or adjust for just one part of the worldspace. You'll just have to get creative in finding ways to cover it up. When I first started Camp Golf Harbor LOD issues were a major obstacle. I was constantly going from the GECK to the game to see if any LOD was sticking out of my terrain adjustments. It is what led to me having two levels of flat terrain instead of just one. It is also what led to the two rock tunnels by the upper west gate that house the crane base. There was a big LOD right in the middle of the entrance from a rock I had removed so I covered it with limestone but it looked out of place. I eventually came up with the idea to turn it into rock tunnels and ended up very pleased with the results. All I can tell you is try to avoid lowering terrain too much, which will possibly expose LOD, and instead try to raise terrain if you can. Other than that, you can try to cover it with rocks, a building, anything you can think of or find in the GECK. As much as dealing with LOD pissed me off to begin with, some of the more creative ideas I came up with for Camp Golf Harbor came from trying to figure out a way to cover LOD. Good luck!
