  1. It looks like it's shading the edges of the mesh, but I'm not positive. That's the best I can think of as I am learning. Could be that AO is detecting edges and applying transitional shadows to help 'dull' the sharpness of some edges is the wild idea coming to me.
  2. EDIT: Figured it out, just needed to go to the "Glass" and "Frontbulb" nodes to alter the color palette as additional work with the changes in the actual texture files. Maybe this will help someone else, after spending yet another 5 hours of having this wreck fail to work in-world and FINALLY getting to test it with some reliability so I might begin checking balance along with trying to get the actual visual effects for the lasers I've somehow caused other issues and now I have definitive proof I will never make this mod. I have been attempting a recharger unique, I am currently at a stage where I can at the very least get the befuddling mess to show up in GECK and usually stay where I tell it to be when I drop it in. Now, I thought I had changed the color of the glass tubes as well but clearly I have missed something because they are still showing up with some yellow when the intention was to transform it to purple. I've not gotten to the stage where I am including the laser as I am already at wits end after a combined 12 hours of effort on this blasted thing. Fully accepting that this is my failings, not blaming any program or any of the guides I have followed.
