  1. Project Nevada uses a different modifier (lower) for Endurance affecting your health. And it does not increase health with your leveling by default. You can change those settings via the PN Mod Menu.
  2. q: Too much space, not enough players & Space Police (Gah... but I wanna kill that merchant ship!) a: Go to low security or NULL security space, then there is a lot of space, not a lot of players, and limited or no space police. q: Heavily Advantaged Veteran Players & Solo pvp not overtly viable a: Any ship can kill any ship (with enough time). Solo pvp is viable if you are patient and go hunting and be smart (cloaky bomber/recon can eat up unaware miners/ratters/idiots). q: Grind a: one of the reasons I left. You either have real life money to buy game time, or real life time to make game money to buy game time. I ran out of both :) q: Recommendations a: Sounds like you would have fun joining a low security or null security corporation. A great group of people really makes the game because I found the most fun came from small group PvP fleets. You can learn from more experienced players. And in a good group they don't really care if you are flying a Tier 1 frigate. A T1 frig can lock down a ship just as well as more expensive ship. The universe is brutal and you have to play smart and strategize. It is not for the faint of heart which makes it all the more fun.
  3. I agree with this. It is immersive breaking to kill a half dozen raiders and walk away with a couple of Assault Rifles, plasma casters, and grenade launchers. Granted I did some very quick research and there are an estimated 250-300million guns in the US. Of those 1/3 are hand guns and most of the remaining 2/3rds are rifles and shotguns. Of those rifles only a few million are of the assault AR-15/AK type. So using these very rough numbers, hundreds of years after a nuclear war a roving gang of 6 raiders should probably have the leader with an AR-15/AK style weapon and the rest have hunting rifles/shot guns or a mix of handguns. Like you state those guns would not be in the best shape and ammo should be scarse. That would make the repair skill that much more important for maintaining weapons and creating ammo. This would also make questing/pillaging more fun to try breaking into or befriending factions that control the remaining energy or military weapons.
  4. That is quite a bit of mod, thank you for showing. I found this rifle mod: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39316 and modified it to use 375HH Mag ammo. I also have BOE and AWOP installed so there are two TRG hunting rifles. I changed one to use 300Win Mag and the other 338 Lapua Mag rounds.
  5. Has anyone created or is interested in creating a bolt action rifle suited to the guide or safari style bolt action rifles? These types of rifles are suited for protection/hunting of large game in Africa or Alaska. Usually in Magnum calibers > .300 (375HH, .416, .458) holding about 4 rounds. I found this rifle is pretty popular with hunters as it has so many configurations from varmint up to large game calibers. CZ 550 Or the Winchester Model 70 Win Model 70 Thanks
