  1. So I've noticed that there are some instances in Fallout 4 in which certain NPCs will use the animations that are the opposite of their gender. The one NPC I've seen this in is Isabel Cruz (A.K.A. The Mechanist). Even after revealing that The Mechanist is a female, Isabel Cruz continues to use male animations. If you want to disable this, it's quite simple. ------------- First Step ------------- Download Elminster's F04Edit. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737 There is no installation for the program. Just extract the contents (via winrar or 7zip) into any file of your choice. I placed the contents into a file on my desktop. ----------------- Second Step ----------------- Open the program (run it as an administrator if you have to) and a menu will show up with a list of all of your plugins. If you want to, you can keep all of the plugins enabled in FO4Edit, but, if you want the loading to be faster, then only select "Fallout4.esm" and "DLCRobot.esm". Press "OK" in the bottom right corner of the menu and the program will load the plugins. -------------- Third Step -------------- Find "Isabel Cruz" in the "Non-Player Character (Actor) section" of "DLCRobot.esm". To do this, press the plus icon to the left of "DLCRobot.esm". A drop down should appear with a bunch of sections, including "Action", "Activator", "Addon Note", etc. The sections are in alphabetical order, so just scroll down in the left hand menu until you reach the "Non-Player Character (Actor)" section. Click the plus sign to the left of "Non-Player Character (Actor)" and a list of NPCs will appear. Scroll down and look in the "Name" column of the NPCs until you find "Isabel Cruz". Her name should be close to the top of the NPC list. ---------------- Fourth Step ---------------- Disable the "Opposite Gender Anims" flag. Once you find Isabel Cruz's name in FO4Edit, click on it. The window on the right should be filled with rows and columns of information regarding the character. In the leftmost column of the right window, there will be a section called "ACBS - Configuration", and beneath that a section called "flags". Isabel Cruz's flags will be listed in that row, and it should say "Female, Unique, Opposite Gender Anims". Double click the list of flags in the second column and a pop up will question whether or not you are sure you know what you're doing. (Note: This tutorial changes the "DLCRobot.esm" plugin itself. It does not create a new plugin that overrides the DLC".) Click continue and a list of flags should appear. If the list does not appear, then double click "Female, Unique, Opposite Gender Anims". Deselect "Opposite Gender Anims" in the drop down menu. ------------- Fifth Step ------------- Save the plugin. To save the plugin, press Ctrl+S on your keyboard. A menu will appear with the "DLCRobot.esm" plugin listed. Press "OK" in the bottom right corner of the menu. Exit out of FO4Edit and run Fallout 4. Check with Isabel Cruz and she should play the standard female animations.
  2. I haven't been able to find a mod that allows the player to craft misc items from junk for decorative purposes. For example, say that I want some Wonderglue for a shelf but I cant find any in the commonwealth. Say also that I have a bunch of adhesive from other junk items. I'd like to be able to craft Wonderglue from adhesive. This of course would apply to other misc items as well. If there is already a mod for this, could someone point me in the right direction? If not, then could someone make a mod like this? Thanks a ton.
