  1. I went into my first Oblivion gate a hapless noob and managed to make it to the tower where you find the guard and the key keeper. The keeper was obviously alot stronger then me so i used a block to shove him off the ledge. In the air he tried to attack me again, but hit one of the scamps. He survives the fall (barely) and of course the two scamps turn on him :starwars: . They were easy picking, so i got the key for nought but a block and two arrows. ;D
  2. Looks like you've made awsome progress with this! If i can I'd love to help out. Gone... :wallbash: too... :wallbash: long... :wallbash:
  3. I might be able to help with that. Also, an idea for when you start the legion: you can only sign on at 1 fort, and at said fort you would be recruited quickly, given an official sounding title that is obviously not a title at all, and used for grunt work. Another thing, would we do the fort courtyard etc... as part of the outside rather then another worldspace?
  4. I'v gone through the legion several times but I always get myself thrown out before I can do more then a couple quests. Stupid "no theivery" policy.... It's a start. Just keep working on it and learn more about how to do stuff. Here's a site from which you can learn a lot about the construction set: Oblivion Modding Wiki
  5. Yes, i know where the caraboo itself comes from, but why would you use the diameter of a caraboo as the final variable? When i did you're equation my caraboo was big enough to eat the entire solar system.... To Ninja, sorry about the argument, I'v just been beyond stress the past few weeks. :wallbash: To cyronarxes, well put, but even just the plot would be an excellent resource. Especially seeing as I have no clue how imperial quests would go, mainly because i spend my time on the other side of the law in RPG's.
  6. Wse words, but where did the caraboo come from?
  7. Let's look this over and find the faults, shall we? 1) the team members kept putting it off. That just means that it is their fault, not out of the mod being too hard to do. 2) This "attempt" has someone with an idea, a scripter, possibly 2, and someone who can do excellent quests and worldbuilding. 3) I have started. 4) If you think it's ill-fated why don't you just *censored* off and annoy somebody else?
  8. I've been hearing the name Peregrine a fair bit, who is this guy? Also You have a point, but Ninja was being quite the hypocrite when he said that.
  9. Ninja, do you know what the word "almost" means? And yes i know that it has to be done with th existing engine, but almost every idea that would supposedly need a new engine, there is a way to do it with the existing engine. Thx very much sanada, proving ninja wrong is A factor, but this is a good idea and I think a lot of people would like to see something like this. ** SNIP ** EDIT by LHammonds (File Admin): Personal attacks removed. Keep it civil.
  10. I think you need to think before you speak, I never said anything to anyone so incompetent as you, so if you don't think it can be done, just leave this topic. Almost any mod that can be imagined can be done with enough work. I don't care if people have failed. That is THEIR problem, not mine. Do you think anything was invented on the first try? We don't need to hear from some idiot with anger-management problems. Two last things: 1 - How you have the nerve to call sanada a flamer i have no idea (do you even read you're own posts???) and 2 - There will be an attempt. Sanada, if it's ok with you I'm going to try this. I would need the help of people who can do meshes and textures tough.
  11. It can be done. Establishing the guild itself, easy. Getting IL places all over, not so much but it can be done, especially if you have an experienced mesh/texture maker helping you. I'm not good with either but i can work fairly well with scripts so if you need any help let me know. I honestly think you can pull this off.
