  1. Nothing I tried in that guide worked but I managed to fix it. I was about to clean install when I decided to take a shot in the dark and verify the files through GOG, and somehow either installing an ENB or removing it with ENB Manager had deleted some files because GOG had to redownload 160mb worth of game. It loads fine now, I have no idea what files were lost but thankfully they're easy to replace so I'll know what to do if this happens again.
  2. I've been playing New Vegas without issue (GoG version if it matters) with a basic ENB, decided to replace the enb with Rudy enb and I got a black screen on launch with the music playing. Went back to the enb that worked, and the issue stuck around, I've since completely wiped every enb file from the game and it's still giving me a black screen with music playing. I have never been so frustrated at a technical problem in my life, this is mind boggling to me. It worked with one enb, but stopped working altogether after trying another even after that one is practically nuked from my games installation. Any solutions?
  3. I own Oblivion on Steam and GOG, I planned on using Steam for the insanely modded playthrough and GOG for a lightly modded playthrough. The only problem is the ini files, it looks like both versions share the same ini locations in Documents\My Games\Oblivion. Is there a way to have them use separate directories?
  4. I've managed to fix it with these. Uninstalling WICO and installing compatibility patches for these have fixed my issue. Thanks!
  5. I've usually had good luck modding the Special Edition over Oldrim, but now I've got my first major crash and it happens every time I launch the game. Load order: I did check for missing masters and found 2, but disabling them did not solve the issue. Any help would be appreciated, I've never been good at singling out what's responsible.
  6. It's just a list of mods. Weird, none of the mods I downloaded even referenced Cutting Room Floor, wonder which mod installed a patch for it? As for Immersive Sounds and Sounds of Skyrim, I'd assume they're compatible since they add different sounds, though I can try uninstalling one. I'll try disabling the patch(if I can find which mod did it), and if that fails I'll uninstall Immersive Sound Compendium, and edit this post with the result. Edit: Solved. I Installed Cutting Roor Floor, and found Vortex had messed up 2 mods files.
  7. So I installed my usual mod list, but I used Vortex this time around instead of NMM and various mods I hadn't installed before, and the game refuses to launch. I start SKSE, Steam shows "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition - running", and it never launches. Same thing happens if I try to start it without SKSE. Any help would be appreciated. Here's my load order:
  8. Well, spent more time trying to solve the issue, and even without mods something makes it crash within 10 seconds of getting in-game. Fresh install it is, then. Thanks for the help though, I'm definitely not rolling back again.
  9. Oh, crap. I completely forgot that I rolled back to 1.9.4 yesterday. Is the game version a hard requirement for every mod? I'm guessing FO4 isn't liking mods for the current update running in 1.9.4.
  10. I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour now, and I'm stumped. Any time I load my game, I get maybe 3 seconds of gameplay, then a CTD. With one save it doesn't even load, just crashes during the load screen. Load order:
