  1. Is there a way to open multiple NPCs simultaneously and make sweeping changes? Like if I wanted to change something on every single guard in the game or every single male or female or child? And if there isn't a way, could there be a way? Let's say I wanted to change the faction of every single bandit in the game. I wouldn't have to open 1 change it, close it, open another, change it, close it and so on...I could just open them all and change them all at once. What if in the Skyrim I am modifying, I want to give a specific newly modded weapon to every guard? Weight changes, stat changes, faction changes, disposition changes...etc. Just a thought... I posted about this earlier and it was deleted for some reason, so I am re-posting. I got a lotta negative feedback, but it doesn't seem like a terrible idea to me...what do you think? And for the record, I am not trying to get someone to do this, but if someone is experienced with modding, I would like to know if it is even possible and if so if it would be worthwhile or too difficult. I am inexperienced and do not know the nature of Skyrim modding as well as people who use it all the time.
  2. Although, I could save the .esm with all the females set to 0 and give it to people if they want it. But the tool I am conceptualizing doesn't just change weight, it allows to open multiple NPCs data simultaneously in order to make certain universal changes. What if you want to change something about every bandit in the game, every child, every male, every female, every wood elf. I dunno...doesn't seem that far out to make a power tool.
  3. Thank you! Anyway, I don't expect someone to make it for me. I was curious about whether it was a question that had been asked before or if my idea is unique to my own needs and if there was some way to simplify the process. I appreciate everyone's input.
  4. The NPC Editor I use will load the NPCs directly from the customized esm file, so If any weight change is applied in the future there will be no issues with neck seam. I guess my next question would be if it is possible to make a mod similar to the NPC Editor that could have a function to change all female or male weights simultaneously. Not that I am very experienced with modding, but I guess I am hoping someone who is experienced might notice this thread and maybe have some input. If it is possible, how difficult would it be to do it and has anyone thought of this before? Oh and I do realize that there is a good chance that in order to have it specify between male and female may require having a master list of all of the npcs and then divide them by gender. There doesn't seem to be any useful sorting tools for actors besides alphabetical order in the creation kit. I hope that by some chance I am mistaken about the sorting. Even just alternate sorting in the creation kit would make this SOOO much easier. Like sorting actors by traits. An example would be "Show all unique NPCs." or "Show all child NPCs" or the one I am looking for "Show all female NPCs".
  5. I get a feeling that the individual NPC weight values overwrite the race values. Otherwise everyone would already be the same weight. But that is an interesting point. I know its probably more of pain to figure it out than it is to just spend 1 night changing the NPCs 1 at a time but I am curious and also think it would make it a lot easier for others to do the same. It also looks like Race form has options for male and female. Ok, so race weight influences what min and max weight are for that race, so the slider of 0-100 for the NPC is a percentage of the race weight. So a Wood Elf at maximum weight will always be smaller than a Nord at maximum weight. So using the race weight can make it so Nords are small and skinny and Wood Elves are big and heavy...but it does not change the variance in the NPC weight values.
  6. K, but the bodylside is capable of modesty...I just wanted to be able to make a few of them stand out while the rest are more average. The way this is achieved is having the difference between slim and heavy be more exaggerated while making the mass populous default at slim. There has to be a way to do it. There is a mod called NPC Editor. I used this to edit individual NPCs. It doesn't seem like it would be impossible to open multiple NPCs at the same time with some kind of a "power tool". I'm sure it could cause all kinds of problems if you change the wrong setting, but weight has no bearing on the game except for cosmetic value. I wish I knew how to do it, but I'm sure it isn't impossible.
  7. I have been working with editing existing NPCs and adding new ones to my skyrim game. I use CBBEv3 female body mod with bodyslide function. I am trying to make the majority of female NPCs more "modest" than a few of the followers and more prominent characters. I am wondering if there is a way to edit every female NPC to have a weight of 0. This way I can go through to specific NPCs that I want to be unique and change them individually. It is quite a task to go through every single NPC and change them all one at a time.
