  1. I want to suggest a mod that will make stealth archery much more immersive. To start, imagine that I am a hunter taking aim at a wild elk while hidden (well, I am hardly hidden, I'm just not seen at this angle). I fire, and the arrow whizzes right past my target's ear. Slightly annoyed, I ready another arrow and fire again. This one lands right in front of its feet. I am getting a little bored, but I ready a third, and this one pierces its head, and the elk stumbles over and dies. Grinning with pride at my excellent marksmanship, I run over to loot my game. I propose a mod that will make this experience more realistic. Arrows flying or landing near a target should alert that target by its sound and make them suspicious of the presence of an enemy. I have found stealth archery to be a little too easy to pull off, especially with my mods that increase damage output (you know, the most popular combat mods right now), but with a feature like this archery will be a deal more realistic, difficult and engaging (and a much better fix than that superhuman sidestep behavior vanilla used). I am not entirely sure how NPC behavior works, but I imagine there being two steps to this feature. First, the arrow emitting a sound that will draw an enemy's attention to it, and second, the enemy becoming suspicious of its attacker, possibly inferring the archer's direction by the direction of the arrow. And I imagine prey would just run off at step 1. Though of course that is only my approach. I hope that any mod author who picks up this idea will enjoy implementing it in their own way. That is all, thank you for reading.
