Modding latest version of Skyrim SSE with the latest version of Vortex - had a disaster last summer; repair required wiping my disk and I hadn't reconfigured Carbonite correctly to save everything for the games. Flag occurred when downloading Immersive Armors and has also shown up now with Ordinator. I was using both of these without problems before the disaster. Hence my confusion.

The loot message appears saying "This table is filtered, showing 3/17 items. After it is a button saying "Clear all filters". I assume this is a solution to the problem. Nothing happens. The flag remains in place, the same message shows up.

I bought my gaming laptop just before the Great Eclipse a couple of years ago, and my son, aka live-in tech support, installed and set it up for me to play Skyrim SE. My daughter (and Gopher's videos) taught me how to download mods to improve my playing experience. At first I only used things like the Unofficial Patch, Cutting Room Floor, horses and dogs can't be killed, some player houses..., things like that. From the beginning, the Khajiit caravans were acting oddly - they stay in one city and do not set up camp. Ri'saad and co. stay in Whiterun; Akhari and co. stay in Riften, except... maybe in an early game they were in Dawnstar once?; and I don't think I've run into Ma'dran and co. for a very long time. It hasn't upset my gaming much, but I am frankly curious about what could be causing this behavior.

Since I have the Winstad Mine in operation, Fellburg Castle serfs paying their tithes, Blackthorn village up in operation (lovely, lovely rents) and will soon have the Heljarchen Farm and brewery bringing in the cash, I shan't need to sell them; pretty soon I'll be able to buy and sell Maven Blackbriar and the whole crew. Going for a million septims, maybe two - I'll be able to buy the whole stinkin' province, mwua-ha-ha (Boris Badenov style).

The creator of the mod Bleakwood Cabin hasn't answered posts since sometime last year, so I have to think he/she is no longer monitoring the site. And I have a serious problem. Maybe it is similar to problems in other mods that someone knows how to deal with. Note that I am playing on a PC with a game controller, not on the keyboard, so if I must use console commands I will need VERY detailed instructions. As in many houses, Bleakwood has a rack for dragon claws and another rack for the Elder Scrolls you collect. The problem is that you cannot take something off the rack once it has been placed, particularly the Ivory claw and the Blood - Elder Scroll. I click on the objects and I receive the message "You lack this item." Yes, I do, since the blasted thing is already in the rack! Does anyone know of how to fix this problem so that I can progress in the game (finish Dawnguard or the Gauldar quest) or will I have to quit this game and start another?) My character is at level 57 or so. Lot of work has gone into him.

Had to register: I am on the plugins page. When I go back to mods page, only one, newly downloaded mod is shown. rmm: Does Volcano store profiles, or am I going to have to write down every mod for each character and store it on paper? This would be a serious step back in usefulness from NMM. I've had to recreate too many large datasets in toto moving from machine to machine or OS to OS in my lifetime (I'm 67) to be willing to do it for this changeover. Maybe I should just delete Volcano and give up getting mods from Nexus.

In NMM, I have three profiles, with different mods enabled, for my gung-ho Red Guard lady, my teenaged Breton mage, and my amnesiac why-did-they-dump-me-in-this-abandoned-prison-and-who-are-THEY? Imperial. When I look at the Vortex listing, only the mods for the last character, the Imperial, are listed. I need to know whether the profile system for NMM still works with Vortex and how to access non-enabled files. And I liked the themed category organization of the NMM; going strictly by the names of the mods make it difficult to find, say, all the player houses I might drop or add for a particular character. (My Imperial goes for small cabins in isolated places. No buying in-town houses, mansions, castles, etc. Anybody might be THEM.)

Two problems. I downloaded the 'Better Cities - Solitude and Whiterun Overhaul' via NMM. Seemed to install okay. But Whiterun is not anywhere near what the page at Nexus led me to believe. I checked out my Mod Manager page and the plugin is listed as 'Better Cities - Solitude and Whiterun Overhaul - Better Cities Solitude.' Has the Whiterun part been deleted? Is it listed another place? I have only just started a new game with several new mods and haven't been to Solitude yet to see if it has worked correctly there. I am a newby with mods and by accident I downloaded one called 'Terrace Patio for Proudspire' which is not for the Special Edition. I keep being asked about endorsing it or not, so I know it is somewhere, but it is not listed in the Mod Manager. When in my previous game, I tried to change the interior of Proudspire Manor via a mod, it was unusable, because of problems with the exit to the porch and the door above it (the one to the bedroom). Could the phantom mod be the problem? How can I find it to delete it? P. S. What is the best multiple follower mod?

I am also not getting any audio - music, shouts, the lot. Except for the intro music. It all worked perfectly fine yesterday, but today when I fired up the machine, this fault appeared. I had not added any mods or changed anything, especially not in the audio settings, which I checked. Re-booted the machine - no dice. Turned it off for an hour - ditto. Gotta get my Skyrim fix.

These problems probably sound trivial, but I find them annoying. After installing Left Hand Rings by Duggelz, I can no longer name my enchanted gear. The mod Wolf's Recipes Redone include several multi-step recipes. However the recipes for the step 1 foods 'Beef Broth' and 'Chicken Broth' are not provided, so that several foods requiring them cannot be made, particularly Chicken Noodle Soup. I mean when you are beat up after facing half-a-dozen Draugar Deathlords, what could be more comforting that Chicken Noodle Soup?

Ever since I added 'Left-hand rings', I have been unable to name my gear when I upgrade it. I like to keep my carried apparel sorted by type - Battle stuff, Stealth stuff, Prepping stuff (for muffle, -fleshes, etc.). Without these names, I am in danger of selling my best gear without even realizing it. Is there any fix for this without losing the left-hand rings?

Well, ex---cuse me for being a newby. Maybe you could point me to a tutorial or explain the process yourself?

I downloaded a mod for SE that has the same name as the LE version of the mod. When I tried to install the mod, it came up saying that there was a new version (1.3) and I should go download that one. But the new version is for LE Skyrim, not SE. How do I fix this?

Khitisan thanks you both, especially the Old Hand for that one's specificity. Khitisan likes very much the Taller Trees mod; such lovely trees to climb! At least in this one's imagination.

Khitisan has played much Skyrim on the xbox. Now this one has been given a new laptap on which to play. But alas! this one knows naught of mods or how to download them. Can anyone assist Khitisan, please?
