  1. Hello all! I've had a idea for a mod floating around in my head for a couple of years for Fallout 4 and I'm taking a break from my UE4 project, so in the mean time, I wanted to get familiar with the new creation kit for Fallout 4. I haven't touched bethesda modding since the Oblivion Construction Set and Fallout 3 GECK, so I am going to be taking the time to learn creation kit and try my hand at modding the game. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for this, but I was looking to add in new menus to the pipboy. As it is right now, the pipboy is set up as : Stats , Inv, Data, Map, Radio ; and with that, have their own submenu's beneath them. Inv has the Weapons, Apparel, Aid, etc. as the submenu to the pipboy. Is there a way to add in a new submenu to the inv tab in the pipboy? Like For Instance "Weapons, Apparel, New Menu, Aid, Etc"? I've poked around through the other mods that deal with inventories and hud, like DEF_HuD and FallUI, but they seem to add in a new submenu into a menu, rather than adding in a new menu. For instance, Categorizing Explosives or Melee, into submenu's beneath the Weapon tab. I haven't seen a mod actually add in new integrated menus however as far as I've seen. The reason I am asking this is because the mod I am looking to create, the items there-in it won't really fit under any of the pre-defined pipboy menus. As well as just wanting to self-contain everything within the mod to try and make it as compatible as possible with everything else. If anyone could point me in the right direction for doing such, or if not, pointing me towards adding new sub menus through Def_Inv, so at least with that mod, everything could be sorted neatly.
  2. Let me start off by saying I have no modding experience at all. I did make a few mods for myself for oblivion back in the day, but that doesn't count. A complete beginner. And a bit of prologue before we get into the actual question at hand. Shadow of Mordor recently released the nemesis update and so I spent the last 40 or so hours playing that game, grinding through the nemesis system and leveling up the uruks and toying with the game mechanics to get my desired Uruks Looks and skills to import into Shadow of War. But that got me thinking; What if something like the nemesis system was brought into Skyrim? Making a Nemesis like system into a framework mod for skyrim(Like Campfire), to where you can add more optional add ons later on and people can make their own stuff to integrate into it. Give certain enemies(like bandits for easiest example) a system of retreat on near death or to surrender when they get knocked down(Which would present a dialogue, where you can kill, spare, and or mug), and to retreat after they get back up to their feet if you were busy killing off his buddies while he was down or just never bothered to trigger the dialogue. If the person survived, they would be given an actual name besides "Bandit", "Forsworn" , "Necromancer", etc, from a list of names to generate from. And then later on at some point, the bandit that got away would be able to track you down and try to kill you. (Or perhaps help you during the fight if say, you chose to spare him without taking anything. A percent chance for the bandit to be friendly on that occasion and possibly recruit as a follower) Now for the more technical questions I have. Would something like this even be viable to create in Skyrim? If so, where would I begin with such a thing? If any modders have some helpful advice to share on how I would start creating a mod like this, I would appreciate it. Edit: Not sure if this is in the correct forum, hope it is. Edit 2: Not sure how it double-posted. Sorry for that. Unsure how to delete the other topic.
  3. If a Moderator could take this topic down, thank you. Sorry for double-post.
  4. Hey Nexus. I really haven't posted a lot or even use forums at all really.. But let's get to it. :x This is just a rough idea I had, haven't checked other post if this has been said yet or not but basically having maybe a spell for dragons that allow them human form, sort of like the Werewolves. That would allow them to blend in with other races like the Werewolves and Vampires(Yet, they don't change forms.) in the cities. Possibly have a quest-line involving it or a small society of dragons, where they go into the mortal affairs. Example to this would be like World of Warcraft, which is halfway where I got the idea from. I don't believe it would be totally lore-breaking either since the Dragons where around for thousands of years. They would definitely have time to learn the common language to help them blend in better. (If I know the lore right.. or remember it correctly.) I beat the main game and honestly wasn't enthused a lot about how it ended... Not saying I didn't like it, just that I think the way Bethesda hyped up Skyrim with Dragons and such, it was going to be different. On a side note, I've been up for almost 2 days now and sorry for rambling on. Just throwing my two cents in on dragon ideas.
  5. Wondering if anyone is able to make this scythe, and the staff for me and anyone else that might want it. (see pics) Hopefully someone out there will create these. :D
