Well, it took more than half a year, but I'm back...mostly because I haven't touched Skyrim since. BUT NOW I WANT TO, and my problems still persist. Since I last started this thread, I've upgraded my GPU from a crappy AMD integrated card to a modest but quality GTX 760. One day I decided to play Skyrim again because of the D&D campaign I'm currently doing. Still happens. So you nught be thinking, Schepeppa have you gotten rid of the advanced texture mods? Well, short answer is yes. Long answer is that back when this game first came out in 2011, I played it (and modded the hell out of it) on a craptastic laptop. Integrated GPU, 2.3 GHz CPU and all that jazz. It worked like a charm. Well, I say that but I had like a 15 frame rate with all the texure mods BUT OTHER THAN THAT it worked just fine and this problem never came up. Then when I got this PC, everything worked fine too. Until I uninstalled all my mods (which was in the 250 range) and went back to basics. Also I did try a fresh ini, that didn't work (although it did solve some issues for Fallout 4 but that's another story)
